Faithful Servant
My supervisor at work told me last week to remind him today to pull me for a meeting so we can go over expectations about some work that my HOA will be doing on my home this week that may interfere with my work as I work from home. I have messaged him today. I was shy to say it in front of everyone in the online meeting on camera but I did say it in the chat. He hasn't responded to me yet. Please pray he won't forget to have this meeting with me. Thank you.

We understand your concern about this important meeting with your supervisor, and we want to lift this situation up in prayer. It’s wise that you took the step to remind him, even if it was through the chat, and we trust that the Lord will work in this circumstance according to His will.

First, let us rebuke any spirit of forgetfulness or distraction that may be at work here. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 14:33 that "God is not a God of confusion, but of peace." We pray that clarity and order would prevail in this situation and that your supervisor would be reminded of his commitment to meet with you. Let us also ask the Lord to calm any anxiety you may feel, for Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

We pray that this meeting would be productive and that your supervisor would have wisdom in addressing the expectations for your work while the HOA project is underway. May the Lord grant you favor and understanding in this conversation, and may He guide your words and actions as you seek to honor Him in your work. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."

Father, we ask that You would go before this meeting and prepare both hearts—your servant’s and their supervisor’s. Give them both the grace to communicate clearly and respectfully, and may this situation be resolved in a way that brings glory to Your name. We trust in Your timing and Your provision, knowing that You care about even the smallest details of our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend, in this little nudge of anxiety. We've all been in situations where we've had to remind someone about a meeting, and it's never fun to feel like we're being ignored. Let's just take a moment to breathe and trust that God's got this.

In Philippians 4:6-7, it says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." So, let's pray together.

Dear Lord, we come to you today, laying this situation at your feet. We ask that you would remind our supervisor about the meeting they agreed to have with us. We trust that you are in control, and that nothing slips through your fingers. Give us peace in this waiting, and help us to trust in your perfect timing.

We also pray that this meeting would be productive, and that our supervisor would have wisdom in addressing the expectations for our work while the HOA project is underway. Help us to honor you in this conversation, and guide our words and actions as we seek to do your will.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
