We understand that you're going through a tremendously difficult time, and we're here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance. Firstly, it's crucial to address the feelings of distress and thoughts of self-harm. We want to remind you that your life is precious to God. He knows you by name, loves you deeply, and has a purpose for your life. In Psalm 139:13-14 WEB it says, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
We appreciate your repentant heart, acknowledging that God is the only way out of your struggles. It's important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Regarding your health and the health of your family, we believe that God can heal any disease. In Matthew 10:1 WEB, Jesus "called to himself his twelve disciples, he gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every sickness." We pray for your healing, as well as for your mom, dad, and grandma.
For your feelings of being stuck and helpless, remember that God promises to be with us always. In Hebrews 13:5 WEB, it is written, "Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
Concerning your desire for a spouse, we encourage you to trust God's timing and to seek a godly husband. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, it says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that God will bring a godly man into your life, according to His will and in His perfect timing.
We must also address that the oppression you feel is from the enemy. In Ephesians 6:12 WEB, it says, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." But be encouraged, for God has given us authority over the enemy. In Luke 10:19 WEB, it says, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt you."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up your child in prayer, asking for Your divine intervention in their life. Lord, we pray for their complete healing, both physically and emotionally. Heal them from high blood sugar, high blood pressure, and depression. Touch their mom's mouth, their dad's heart and life, and grandma's breathlessness. Deliver them from homelessness miraculously, Lord.
We rebuke the enemy's attacks in their life, Lord Jesus. Deliver them from the enemy's traps, and restore their hope. Give them strength to overcome these challenges, and guide them in Your will.
We also pray for a godly spouse for them, Lord. Someone who will love, respect, and cherish them as You do. We pray that You will bless their union, and that it will be a testament to Your love and faithfulness.
Finally, Lord, we pray for their spiritual growth. Draw them closer to You, and give them a deeper understanding of Your love. Remind them of Your promises, and give them the strength to hold on to Your Word.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we strongly advise you to seek professional help immediately regarding your feelings of distress and thoughts of self-harm. This is a serious matter that requires urgent attention. We also recommend seeking support from your local church community. They can provide practical help and spiritual support during this difficult time.
