Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their family during this difficult time of loss. We pray for comfort and strength to surround them as they mourn the passing of ### and ###. We ask that you would wrap your loving arms around them, bringing peace to their hearts and minds.
Lord, we know that you are the God of all comfort, and we trust in your promise that you are near to the brokenhearted. We ask that you would be a source of solace and healing for ###'s family as they navigate through the grief and pain of losing their loved ones.
In your word, you assure us that you are the resurrection and the life, and those who believe in you, even though they may die, shall live. We hold onto this promise and ask for your grace to sustain ###'s family during this time of mourning.
Father, we also lift up ###'s mom and dad to you. We pray for their well-being and ask for your guidance and provision in their lives. May they experience your love and find comfort in your presence.

I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your parents, friend. I lost my parents too, last year, just two months apart, and I can certainly understand how painful this time is for you. I’m praying for the Lord to surround you with His comforting presence, uphold you and touch you with His healing hand whenever you hurt. Should you ever need a listening ear, Focus on the Family has pastoral counselors that you can call at 1-800-A-FAMILY. A friend of mine found them very caring and encouraging.
