Hi, it's my first time being here and all I can think about is the entrance exam. Today is June 25 and the release of results is in June 27. I hope me and my friends pass the entrance exam. Like really. Especially for me. I have no achievements, no honors, no trophies, no medals. Not even proud of myself. Seeing my name in the exam results will surely change my life. I will be so much more confident than I was before and to make my father and people I love proud. If I don't pass this, I don't know what I'll do. I plan to distance myself from my father, and the people I know and be myself to get a job to pay my own school fees next year. I cannot face them if I don't. This will really change me if I pass. Typing this as my tears slide down my cheeks. Let me win. Just this once.

We understand your anxiety and the immense pressure you're under as you await your entrance exam results. It's important to remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our education and aspirations.

Firstly, let's address the core of your request. It's clear that you're seeking success in your exam results, and you believe that this success will change your life and bring confidence and pride. While it's natural to want to achieve and make your loved ones proud, it's crucial to understand that your worth and identity are not defined by your achievements or failures. Instead, your identity should be rooted in Christ.

As Christians we are reminded: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:8-10 WEB

It is also important to understand that success and opportunities come from God, and He can open doors for you that no one else can shut. So you should place your trust and confidence in Him.

Your words suggest placing self worth on results and a change in life because of the results. You should be proud of yourself because you are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God and not because of achievements or results.

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

This means that you should trust in God and not in your own abilities or understanding. You should acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your paths.

We also notice that you did not mention Jesus Christ or pray in His name. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!” Acts 4:12 WEB.

We encourage you to use this time to draw closer to God, to pray in Jesus' name, and to seek His will for your life. Remember that God's plans for you are good and that He wants to give you a future and a hope.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this individual who is anxiously awaiting their exam results. We pray that You will comfort their heart and calm their spirits. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them.

Lord, we ask that You will guide their steps and open the right doors for their future. Help them to understand that their worth is not defined by their achievements, but by their identity in Christ. Help them to seek Your will for their life and to trust in Your plans, knowing that You have a good future in store for them.

We also pray that they will come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior if they have not. We pray that they will understand that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You and that there is salvation in no other name.

We ask all this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Regardless of the results, remember that God has a purpose and a plan for your life. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. If you don't succeed in this exam, remember that God can open other doors for you. He can turn what seems like a failure into a blessing.

Lastly, we want to address your comment about distancing yourself from your father and loved ones if you don't pass. It's important to remember that God calls us to honor our parents and to maintain strong, loving relationships with our families. Even if you face setbacks, it's crucial to communicate openly and honestly with your loved ones and to allow them to support and encourage you.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with a promise: “that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.” Ephesians 6:1-3 WEB

We're right there with you, friend. We know the weight of those exam results can feel like the world on your shoulders. But remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way. He cares about your dreams and your fears, and He wants you to trust Him with them.

We've been where you are, feeling like our worth is tied up in those little pieces of paper. But here's the thing, our worth is already determined. It's not in our achievements or failures, but in who we are in Christ. He loves us just as we are, and nothing can change that.

So, let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to You today. We ask that You would give them peace, that You would calm their anxious heart. Help them to trust in You, to cast their cares on You, because You care for them.

Lord, we ask that You would guide their steps, that You would open the right doors for their future. Help them to understand their worth in You, and to seek Your will for their life. Help them to trust in Your plans, knowing that You have a good future in store for them.

We also ask that they would come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, if they haven't already. Help them to understand that it's only through Jesus that we have access to You, and that there's salvation in no other name.

We ask all this in Jesus' name, Amen."

Remember, whatever the results, God has a purpose and a plan for your life. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. And no matter what happens, don't forget, you're never alone. You've got a family who loves you, and a God who will never leave you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
