Summary (due to privacy): Prayer request related to employment or work situation.

We join with you in bringing this employment need before the Lord and we thank you for allowing us to pray with you about a new job and source of income.

We know how heavy uncertainty about work can feel, yet Scripture reminds us that God is our provider and that He cares about our daily needs. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Matthew 6:33 says But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. When we put Him first, we can trust Him to open the right doors in His perfect timing, for Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

We also remember that work itself is honorable before God and He calls us to diligence. Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. We encourage you to continue to commit your search to the Lord in prayer, to use the gifts and abilities He has given you faithfully, to seek wise counsel, to be diligent in applications and preparation, and to trust that He will lead you to the place where you can provide for your needs and glorify Him.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name matters so much. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Our hope for provision and for eternal life rests on believing that Jesus died for our sins and rose again, and calling upon His name. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Him as Savior and Lord, and to bring every prayer to God in His name.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the financial pressures and the desire for meaningful and stable work. We ask that You would lead and guide to the right job or source of income according to Your will, that You would grant favor with employers, wisdom in decisions, and peace while waiting. Provide for every need and let Your provision be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Open doors that no one can shut and close those that are not Your best. Help our friend to seek You first, to work as unto You, and to rest in Your perfect plan. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, our provider and our hope, amen.

We are praying with you as you ask God to lead you to a new job or source of income. Waiting and searching can wear on you in every way, not just financially but in how you see yourself, and we want you to know your worth before God is not measured by a paycheck or a title.

We understand this kind of uncertainty can feel like a loss, even a grief, as routines and security shift. It is normal to feel unsettled while you wait for the next door to open.

One thing that has helped others in this place is to name the most pressing pressure point right now, whether it is rent, a bill, or daily expenses, and then make a simple short term plan around it while you continue the wider search. It can also help to invite one trusted person into the process, someone who knows your work and character, to look over your resume with you and to keep an ear out for openings you might not see alone. Small steady steps often ease some of the weight.

We are asking God to give you wisdom for each application and conversation, and peace as you trust Him with what comes next.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You see the need for provision and the desire to work well. Give clear guidance, open the right doors in Your timing, and guard this heart with Your peace and dignity through these days. Provide for daily needs and lead step by step. In Jesus name, amen.

Your request concerning employment and provision has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who both appoints our lot and supplies our need.

The life of Job may give you comfort in this season of waiting and uncertainty. That faithful man lost all that he possessed and yet it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He bowed and worshipped even among the ashes, and he learned to trust the hand that had permitted the trial. In due time it is also written, The Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends. Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery when God has accomplished His purpose. He who once restored to Job twice as much as he had before is still Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and not a sparrow falls without His knowledge nor a child of His is forgotten in need.

Therefore let us pray for you, and let us exhort you to continue in patient trust and diligent seeking. Search the Scriptures, for they testify of Christ and they steady the heart when the way is unclear. Commit your way unto the Lord, be faithful in such labour as is set before you, and ask Him for wisdom to discern the open door which no man can shut.

Our prayer is this. O Father in heaven, in the name of Thy dear Son Jesus Christ, look upon Thy servant in this need. Thou knowest what is required for daily bread and for honest provision. In Thy mercy, lead to such employment or lawful source of income as Thou seest fit, that Thy servant may provide for those committed to his care and may labour heartily as unto Thee and not unto men. Grant wisdom in making choices, favour where favour is needed, humility to receive counsel, and grace to wait upon Thy timing without murmuring. Keep from anxiety, establish the heart in contentment, and let this trial work patience and prove faith more precious than gold. May Thy will be done, and may Thy name be honoured in the outcome, whether by an open door soon or by sustaining grace while the door tarries. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Redeemer, who liveth and reigneth. Amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer and in the diligent use of means, trusting that He who clothes the lilies and feeds the ravens will not fail to care for His own.

Your prayer request concerning work and income has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with thanksgiving.

We pray that God, who is faithful to provide for His children, would guide your steps and open the right door for you in His timing. We ask that He would grant you wisdom to discern opportunities, strength to labor diligently, and peace as you trust Him for daily provision. May He lead you to work that is honest and fruitful, where you can use the gifts He has given you for His glory and for the good of others.

Remember that work itself is a calling from God, and that He honors diligence and integrity. As you seek, continue to seek Him first, trusting that He knows your needs. When He provides income, as from a fountain, may you be enabled to be a good steward of what He entrusts to you, providing for what is necessary and using what remains with generosity and wisdom. Avoid both anxiety and the desire for excess, and keep your heart set on spiritual riches which do not fade.

We pray that the Lord would supply what you need, guard you from discouragement, and make your path clear. May He give you favor with employers, clarity in decisions, and contentment as you wait on Him.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask You to lead our brother to the work You have prepared for him, to provide for his needs according to Your riches, and to establish the work of his hands for Your glory. Grant him patience, hope, and confidence in Your care. Amen.
