Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me to get a job in ###. My ### will expire this month mid. Please pray for me to get job before my ### expires.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need for employment. Father, we know that You are the Provider of all good things, and every job and opportunity comes from Your hand. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise today, trusting that You see this situation and will open the right door at the right time.

Lord, we ask that You would grant favor in the job search process. May this dear one be remembered by employers, may interviews go well, and may the right position be made available before the deadline. We declare that no weapon formed against this provision shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke any fear, doubt, or delay that the enemy may try to bring. You are not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33), and we trust You to order these steps.

We also pray for peace and patience in this waiting season. It can be so hard to trust when the timeline feels tight, but we are reminded in Psalm 27:14, "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh." Strengthen this heart, Lord, and help them to rest in Your timing.

If there has been any anxiety or desperation driving this search, we ask that You replace it with faith. Remind them that their worth is not found in a job but in being Your beloved child. Help them to seek You first, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).

We also lift up any financial concerns that may be weighing heavily. You know every need, and we ask for Your provision to cover every expense. Whether through a job, unexpected help, or supernatural supply, we trust You to move.

Finally, Lord, we pray that this job would not just meet a need but also be a place where You are glorified. May this work be fulfilling, honorable, and aligned with Your purpose for their life.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who holds all things together and who is our ultimate Provider. Amen.

We can feel the weight of a countdown like that, waking up every morning aware of the calendar, trying to walk steadily when uncertainty presses in. The pressure you’re carrying isn’t lost on us, and we’re holding this need alongside you right now.

When a situation narrows to a closing window, it’s easy to assume God only shows up if He moves before the deadline. But we’ve sat with people whose breakthrough came in ways that looked late from the outside and turned out to be exactly on time. A young man named ### once came to his ### in full panic: his job security had crumbled, a new offer had turned vague, and every direction seemed to cave in at once. What stands out in his story isn’t a polished answer but the simple fact that he didn’t have to figure it out alone, and God was present in the messy middle, not just at the tidy resolution. That’s true for you too, whether this unfolds in the next two weeks or takes a turn you can’t yet see.

One practical thing that may help: break the search into small, daily actions rather than carrying the whole weight at once. For this week, pick your top three target employers, send in what you can, and make one networking contact a day, just one. That turns a looming deadline into steps you can actually walk, and it quiets the mental spiral.

Lord, You know this need and the time pressure tied to it. Open the right door for employment, and provide what’s required for this month. Give steady nerves and clear thinking along the way. We ask for the job, and we also ask that in the waiting, there would be enough to sustain hope. In Jesus’ name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You lay your need before us, and it is well that you seek the prayers of God’s people. This trial of employment presses heavily, and the passing of days with your visa soon to expire adds a sharp edge to your anxiety. Yet let me speak plainly to your soul. The Lord your God is not slack concerning His promises, nor is He baffled by the deadlines of men. In all this, the urgent question is not whether you shall obtain the post before the month’s middle, but whether your heart shall keep right with God while you wait. Job, with all his losses howling at his gate, tore his mantle, shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped. In all this he sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. That is the triumph of a gracious spirit. Look to Him for this divine support, that you may likewise bow before Him without a question, prostrating your desires and your thoughts and your judgment before His throne.

Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery. Did the Lord turn the captivity of Job? He will turn yours also, if you confide in Him. Job prayed for his offending friends, and then, mark you, not before, his own prosperity returned. How much of your present straitness might be the birthplace of intercessory prayer? Use this season to plead for others, to carry the ungodly world, your church, your neighborhood before the mercy-seat, and you may find your own burden strangely lightened. The most of us are of such coarse material that we need melting before we attain to that sacred softness by which the Lord God is joyfully perceived. This very pressure may be the melting fire.

You fear the expiration of your visa, and the loss of opportunity. But you must know that every man, woman and child in this place should unite in saying with Job, “I know that Thou wilt bring me to death.” Earthly stays are brittle. The glory of estate and bodily health and prosperity are as the flower of the field. It scarcely comes before it goes. Yet even if the lower springs should fail, there is a covenant fountain that never dries. It is not your employment that makes you acceptable before God; you have no need of shillings to pay the priests, nor is any doing, being, or suffering of yours required to complete the task. Christ’s atonement wants no eking out. Cast yourself upon Him alone for your salvation, and then, having done all, stand.

You cry out for a speedy answer, but do not dispute with God. Let a man strive with his fellow, but not with his Maker. Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him. Job meant that he was confident the Lord was just, even when the knife was at his own throat. Can you say as much? The devil still whispers, “Does Job fear God for nothing?” But you may silence that slander by clinging to His righteousness when every visible prop is gone. Your prayer is heard. In the meantime, you have need of the Spirit of God to make this trial the light and power of God to your soul. The letter of the truth will not sustain you; you must know Christ, grace, love, and the truth of God, yourself. Bow low before His throne, yet let it be with the cry, “Nearer to Thee.” The Lord grant you fresh oil, and soon turn this captivity, for He is Jehovah, and that ends the matter.

You ask for prayer as if God needs to be informed of your deadline, as if His provision depends on your calendar. This is the very thing the Israelites did in the wilderness: "They tempted God," demanding proof of His care within their own timeframe. Do you not see that this frantic insistence on a date reveals a heart that does not yet trust Him? You seek a sign, a job before the middle of the month, and if He does not move on your schedule, will you charge Him with neglect? This is not faith; it is unbelief wrapping itself in prayer. He has sustained you forty years, or however many you have lived. Will He not carry you through the next forty days?

Yet I do not dismiss your desire to work. The Apostle thunders, "If any provide not for his own, he hath denied the faith and is worse than an infidel." To seek honest labor for your household is a sacred duty, a provision for both body and soul. But make provision for the flesh only to meet necessity, not to fulfill its lusts. When you cry out for a job before a certain date, examine your heart. Is this the cry of a provider terrified of failing his duty, or the cry of a soul that has made comfort its god? The heathen panic over expiring visas, but you are a child of the covenant. If you are consumed with this temporal anxiety, you have fallen asleep and are dreaming that your life consists in the abundance of your possessions.

Rouse yourself. The present life is a sleep, and its deadlines are no more substantial than nightmares. You fear the expiration of your visa as if it were the expiration of your soul. But what is time to the Eternal? He who made the sun to stand still for Joshua can certainly make your paperwork linger or your opportunity arrive with sudden swiftness. Your single task is to cast yourself at His feet, lame and unable to take another step, and trust Him. Do not ask to dictate the hour. Do not say, "Prove yourself by mid-month." Say only, "I will put my trust in Him." He is not slow as you count slowness. If He delays, it is to teach you that your good conscience and your salvation are not tied to an earthly contract. Seek first the Kingdom, and go about your labor with a quiet mind, for whether you depart young or old, you depart in safety. The provision will come, perhaps not according to your feverish timeline, but sufficient for the day.

You are carrying a heavy weight right now, and I am praying with you about the job and the deadline you face. The fear is understandable, but do not let the pressure convince you that God has turned away or that your hardship proves some hidden guilt. That was the error of Job’s friends. They studied his suffering and concluded he must be a hypocrite or a secret sinner. They were wrong. Job was upright, yet he lost nearly everything. Behind the scenes there was a contest he could not see, and God was still working even when it looked like abandonment.

Job did not understand his circumstances. He cried out for someone to stand between him and God, to lay a hand on both. That longing is answered in Jesus Christ. He is the mediator who stands for you now, not only in the larger matter of your soul but also in the daily need of bread and work. You can be honest with Him about the anxiety, just as Job was honest about his grief, without charging God foolishly. Job never cursed God, but he did ask hard questions. You may ask them too.

So I am asking the Lord to open a job before your current permission expires. I am asking Him to supply what you cannot produce by yourself and to give you clarity, speed, and favor in the process. Keep searching and applying, but do not carry the outcome as though everything rests on your own effort. God is just, and He is not indifferent to your need. He sees the deadline you cannot move, and He is able to open a door no one can shut.

While you wait, let this trial drive you toward Christ rather than away from Him. Even if the timing feels later than you hoped, you are not forgotten. I am praying that the Lord will provide the work and also steady your heart in the waiting.
