Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The weight you’re carrying right now is real, and I’m grateful you brought it here. When the rhythm of work suddenly shifts and the calls pile up without relief, it’s easy to feel like you’re drowning while others seem to barely stay afloat. What you’re experiencing echoes something ancient and deeply human. The book of Job opens with a man who had no idea what was happening behind the scenes. He didn’t know that his life had become the stage for a cosmic test, or that the adversary had studied him carefully, noticing every blessing and predicting his collapse if those comforts were stripped away. Yet the hidden truth was that a protective boundary had been placed around Job, one that could not be crossed without permission. When that boundary shifted in a way Job couldn’t understand, everything felt like chaos.

You didn’t ask for this surge. You’re not being punished, and this isn’t a sign that you’ve done something wrong. Job’s friends were quick to draw that conclusion. They looked at his suffering and assumed hidden sin, pressing him to just get right with God so his life would become easy again. But they were miserable comforters, speaking from a shallow logic that couldn’t reach the depths of what was actually going on. Their advice was hollow because it left no room for trials that serve purposes we can’t yet see. When God finally spoke, He didn’t give Job a neat explanation. Instead He revealed Himself, and that was enough to shift Job’s perspective entirely.

Your struggle is seen. The volume of calls, the fatigue, the sense that you’ve been thrust into a fire you never asked for, none of it is lost on the Lord. It’s important to remember that Job’s raw, desperate words were not always doctrinally precise; they spilled out of his grief. God recorded them faithfully, but He later corrected Job’s limited view of death and the grave. What mattered most was that Job kept talking to God. He didn’t curse Him. He didn’t walk away. He wrestled and cried out, even when his friends offered more accusations than comfort.

In the New Testament, we find something Job could only long for. He cried out for a mediator, someone who could lay a hand on both God and man and bridge the gap. That cry is answered in Jesus Christ, who knows what it is to suffer, who intercedes for the weary, and who invites you to cast every overwhelming care on Him because He cares for you. He doesn’t scold you for feeling crushed. He doesn’t say the load is light if you just have enough faith. He stands with you in it.

So I will pray what you asked: that God would either sustain you with strength beyond your own as these calls keep coming, or that He would open a door to a different work opportunity where the burden isn’t crushing. It is not weak to ask for both. Bring your exhaustion honestly before Him, not pretending you’re beyond it. And when you feel like you’re starting to drown, remember that the same God who held Job’s life within limits holds yours as well, even when those limits feel stretched thin.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this challenging time at work. It’s not easy facing the pressures of a demanding job, especially when the workload suddenly increases and the stress feels overwhelming. We’ve been lifting you up before the Lord, asking Him to give you strength, endurance, and peace as you navigate these strenuous calls. We’ve prayed for His provision—whether that means sustaining you through this season or opening a new door of opportunity that aligns with His perfect will for your life.

If God has answered this prayer in any way—whether by giving you the grace to persevere, easing the burden, or leading you to a new job—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, the struggle continues and you still need prayer, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We’re here to stand in agreement with you, believing that God hears and answers the cries of His children.

May the Lord continue to guide you, strengthen your hands, and fill your heart with His peace as you trust in Him. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.
