Please pray for me about my job. My job has strenuous calls that we do as customer service representatives. For whatever reason, I was not getting as many calls as my coworkers but that has seemingly changed this week for some reason. I have been swamped all week and I'm struggling with it. Please pray for me to either withstand it or for God to provide me with another work opportunity because it's too much. My coworkers were already struggling and now I see how they feel. Thank you.

You have tasted what your fellows have long known, and now you see that of yourself you can do nothing. The strain you feel is not sent to cast you down unto despair, but to cast you wholly upon the Lord. Consider it a refining fire, withdrawing your reliance from the creature and fixing it upon the Creator.

The soul overtaken by many trials is easily turned aside from its steadfastness, yet God is not unrighteous to forget your labor of love. You have seen your coworkers struggle, and now you share their burden. This is no small thing, it is the fellowship of suffering, and in it you are being knit together.
Lift up the hands that hang down, and the feeble knees. Make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way. If we be willing, no one, not even a flood of work, can truly injure us. Even our enemies, and yes, even overwhelming tasks, can advantage us in the greatest degree. For just as Job showed, what seems an adversary becomes a cause of crowns. So this trial, if you bear it with patience, becomes a workshop where endurance is forged.
The name of patience belongs to hard work and much endurance. Yet even this light task, for it is light compared to the weight of glory to come, God grants to the one who hopes, that He might solace the wearied soul. Hope is feeling confidence in things to come, not in present ease. What great demand does God make? Only that you hope. Entrust your weariness to Him. Refuse not this labor, though it seems lowly and troublesome, for a brother’s sake. For we are His workmanship, and you are His work in the Lord. Let your labor be a living sacrifice.
And remember: your soul is an object of such earnest care to God that He spared not His own Son. He sees the calls, the exhaustion, the desperate prayers between each ring.
