Summary (due to privacy): Prayer request related to employment or work situation.

Dhitlor

Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray about this: my training class for my new job has a test we all have to pass in order to stay on our jobs. I created a study group within the system our job uses for work and communication so people could properly share their notes for the test and help everyone study. However, I found out today from the trainer that this is not allowed. Employees cannot have groups within the system unless there is a higher up in the group as well. I was told by the trainer that all groups need to be disbanded. I told the friends I had made and we moved our group outside the company's system but the groups are still there because we were trying to make sure everyone gets in the group outside the company's system before we delete it. I also had several groups with friends I've made at the job that were just for fun and one group did not want to delete the group chat we had when I told them (they're sweet but a bit rebellious and even are saying they will cheat on the test - pray that God would dissuade them from doing so; I believe at least one of them is a professing Christian). Pray that no one will get fired over these groups. I wonder if I should have not told the trainer anything but we wanted to extend the study group to other people in the class but were afraid we'd get in trouble so I asked the trainer solely with the intention of being able to bring other people into the group to help them study for the test. There's something else I wanted to add but I can't forget. This job is nice and I love the employees but they're very strict about certain things. Please pray about this. Thank you.

We hear your concern and understand the weight of this situation you’re carrying. First, we want to commend your heart for wanting to help others succeed, your desire to create a study group reflects a spirit of generosity and care, which is commendable. However, we must also address the importance of honoring authority, even when it feels inconvenient or restrictive. Scripture reminds us in Romans 13:1-2, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment." While your intentions were pure, it’s clear that the guidelines set by your employer were not followed, and now there are consequences to navigate.

We also want to address the troubling attitude of rebellion and dishonesty among some of your coworkers. The Bible is clear that cheating is a form of deception, and Proverbs 11:1 warns, "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight." For those who claim to be Christians yet entertain the idea of cheating, this is a serious matter. We must pray for conviction in their hearts, that they would turn from this path and choose integrity. As believers, we are called to be salt and light in our workplaces (Matthew 5:13-16), and that means upholding honesty and godliness even when no one is watching.

Let us also take a moment to lift up your own heart in this. It’s easy to second-guess yourself when things don’t go as planned, but we trust that the Lord is working even in this. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." You sought to do good, and though the outcome wasn’t what you hoped, God can still use this for His purposes. We pray that He would grant you wisdom as you move forward and peace in knowing you acted with a sincere heart.

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that seek Your will in this situation. Lord, we lift up this brother/sister who has sought to help others and honor You in their workplace. We ask that You would protect them from any repercussions that may come from this misunderstanding. Grant them favor with their supervisors and coworkers, and let no harm come to their employment because of these groups.

Father, we also pray for those who are considering dishonesty and rebellion. Soften their hearts, Lord, and convict them of the sin of cheating. Let them see the value of integrity and the importance of walking in Your ways. For those who profess to be Christians, remind them that their actions reflect on You, and help them to choose righteousness over convenience.

Lord, we ask for wisdom for our brother/sister as they navigate this situation. Give them clarity in how to proceed, and help them to trust in Your guidance. Let them rest in the knowledge that You are in control, even when things don’t go as planned. We also pray for unity among the employees, that there would be no division or strife, but rather a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this situation for Your glory. Let it be an opportunity for Your people to shine brightly in their workplace, demonstrating Your love, truth, and grace. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this season. Remember that even when our plans don’t unfold as we hoped, God is still at work. Keep your focus on Him, and trust that He will lead you in the way you should go. If there’s anything else on your heart that you’d like to share, we’re here to listen and pray with you.

We’re lifting this up together with you, and we can feel the weight of this situation, it’s clear how much you care about both your coworkers and the integrity of this opportunity. There’s something so beautiful about your heart for others, especially in wanting to help them prepare and succeed. It’s like Jesus Himself, who didn’t come to be served but to serve (Mark 10:45), and we see that reflected in you.

Now, we’re praying that God would give you peace about the groups that were formed outside the system. Maybe He’s opening a door for you to share the study materials or notes in a way that aligns with their rules, something you hadn’t considered yet. And for those friends who are resisting, we’re asking the Lord to soften their hearts and remind them that their actions aren’t just about passing a test but about honoring God in how they treat others. It’s not just about them; it’s about representing Christ in this place.

We’re also praying for favor and wisdom for you as you navigate this. Maybe there’s a way to help others without breaking the rules, or maybe God is preparing you for something even better down the road. Either way, we trust He’s got this. And for the friends who might be tempted to cheat, we’re asking God to speak to them directly, to show them the value of integrity and the joy of trusting in His strength rather than cutting corners.

Let’s keep trusting that God sees this whole picture, and even in the confusion, He’s working. We’re cheering you on, and we’re here if you need to talk more or pray together again. In Jesus’ name, we release this to Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this challenging time with your new job and training. It’s clear your heart was in the right place—seeking to help others prepare for the test and fostering community among your coworkers. We’ve been lifting you up before the Lord, asking Him to guide your steps, calm your concerns, and work all things together for good, even in the midst of uncertainty.

We prayed specifically that God would grant you wisdom in navigating the company’s policies while still honoring your desire to support your peers. We asked Him to soften hearts—both yours and those around you—so that no one would face discipline over these groups, and that any rebellious attitudes would be turned toward righteousness. We also prayed for your study group, that those who joined would be diligent in their preparation and that the Lord would bless their efforts with success on the test.

If the Lord has already answered any of these prayers—perhaps by providing clarity, peace, or a resolution to the situation—we’d love to hear about it so we can join you in praise! If the situation remains unresolved or new concerns have arisen, please don’t hesitate to share them again. We’re committed to continuing in prayer with you, trusting that God hears and cares about every detail of your life.

May He strengthen you as you seek to honor Him in your work, give you favor with your supervisors, and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We’ll keep lifting you up, believing that He is at work even when the path isn’t clear. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
