We hear your request and lift it before the Lord with grateful hearts. It is a blessing to see you helping others find employment, as work is a gift from God meant to provide for our needs and allow us to serve Him through our labor. Scripture tells us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24). We pray that those who have been hired will find fulfillment in their work, not only in their tasks but in the opportunity to honor God through their efforts.
Father, we ask You to go before each of these individuals as they begin this new chapter. May they experience fairness, kindness, and respect in their workplace. Grant them wisdom to learn quickly, patience to endure challenges, and joy in their labor. Let their work be a testimony to Your provision and goodness, and may they grow in skill and character as they serve. We also pray for Your protection over their minds and hearts, that they would not be overwhelmed by stress or discouragement, but would find strength in You. *"Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established"* (Proverbs 16:3).
We also lift up your friend, who has opened these doors of opportunity. Bless their business or organization, Lord, that it would operate with integrity and excellence. May it be a place where employees are valued, and where Your name is honored in all things. If there are any hidden challenges or obstacles in this workplace—whether in management, culture, or operations—we ask that You expose them and bring about godly change. Let this be a place where Your light shines brightly.
Lastly, we thank You for the heart of service You have placed in this request. May you continue to use this act of helping others find work as a way to draw people closer to You. If there are any who do not yet know You, Lord, we pray that through this opportunity, they would come to see Your hand at work in their lives and turn to You in faith. For it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to You, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in every aspect of this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
