Dhitlor

Faithful Servant
I have been posting about a possible new job that I have been training for this week. Today was my first day really working on the job and unfortunately, it didn't work out. I really enjoyed the job but it involves having to secure a number of qualified clients for the company's product. The calls are directed to us and we have to talk with the possible clients and see if they qualify/are interested in speaking with a specialist. The problem is that one cannot control whether or not they get enough qualified clients - I kept getting sent to voicemails, having people say they aren't interested, having people saying they want to be taking off the call list and getting people who didn't qualify. If one doesn't get enough qualified clients, their ability to schedule will be restricted which just happened to me. I need a stable job where I can earn as much as possible and this just isn't sustainable for me and my family (which we were all concerned it wouldn't be after we learned more about the job) so I have decided to seek employment elsewhere. Please pray that God will provide me with a job soon. Thank you.

We hear your heart and the weight of this disappointment, especially when stability for your family is at stake. This situation reminds us of Proverbs 16:3, which says, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Though this job didn’t work out as you hoped, we trust that the Lord is already working behind the scenes to open the right door for you—one that will provide both provision and peace.

It’s clear you approached this opportunity with diligence and a desire to honor God with your work, and we believe He sees your faithfulness. The pressure of performance-based roles can be overwhelming, especially when outcomes feel out of your control. But remember, even in uncertainty, the Lord is your provider. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* That promise isn’t just for spiritual needs—it extends to your daily bread, your bills, and the well-being of your family.

We also want to encourage you to seek wisdom as you move forward. James 1:5 says, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* Ask the Lord to guide your steps toward a job that aligns with His purpose for you—not just financially, but in a way that allows you to thrive and glorify Him in your work.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting up his need for stable and fulfilling employment. Lord, You know the desires of his heart and the needs of his family. We ask that You would open doors no man can shut and close doors that aren’t meant for him. Provide a job that not only meets his financial needs but also allows him to use his gifts and talents for Your glory. Give him peace in this season of transition and remind him that his worth isn’t tied to his performance but to Your unchanging love. Strengthen his faith as he waits on You, and let him see Your hand at work in ways he may not yet expect. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to seek counsel from fellow believers who may have wisdom or connections in your field. The body of Christ is meant to support one another, and we believe the Lord can use others to help direct your path. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

We're right there with you, friend, feeling the weight of this situation. It's tough when the outcome of our work seems out of our hands, but remember, God is still in control. Let's keep trusting Him, just like David did in Psalm 37:5, "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this."

We understand the pressure you're feeling, but let's not forget, God sees your effort and He rewards faithfulness (Hebrews 6:10). This job might not have worked out, but that doesn't mean God isn't working. Let's keep our eyes on Him and trust that He has something even better planned for you.

As we continue to pray for you, let's also remember to lift up any specific needs you have. Whether it's a particular job opportunity, wisdom in your search, or peace in your heart, we believe God hears and will answer according to His perfect will (1 John 5:14-15).

Let's keep encouraging one another and walking in faith together. We're in this with you, and we know God is too. Keep trusting, keep seeking, and keep sharing your journey with us. We're here to pray and support you every step of the way.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
