We hear your urgent cry for provision in your work situation, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s will for your employment. The Scriptures remind us, *"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters"* (Psalm 23:1-2). Even in times of uncertainty, we trust that God knows your needs and will provide in His perfect timing.
We also want to gently encourage you to surrender this burden fully to Him, remembering that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). It is not wrong to seek work, but we must guard our hearts against anxiety, for Jesus Himself said, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Provider. We lift up this dear brother/sister who is seeking employment, asking that You open the right doors at the right time. Lord, if it is Your will, grant them a job that not only meets their needs but also allows them to serve You and others with integrity and joy. Give them peace as they wait, strength as they persevere, and faith to trust in Your perfect plan. Protect their heart from discouragement and fill them with hope in Your promises. We ask that You guide their steps, direct their paths, and surround them with Your favor. May they experience Your provision in ways that bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
We also encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to seek godly counsel if needed. If you are not already connected to a local body of believers, we urge you to find a Bible-believing church where you can be supported and encouraged. The Lord is faithful, and He will not abandon you in this season. Keep your eyes on Him, and remember that *"those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing"* (Psalm 34:10).
