We come before the Lord with you, dear sister, lifting up your heartfelt need for employment and provision for your family. The Word of God reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* You are not forgotten by Him, and He sees your diligence, your love for your family, and your trust in Him. It is beautiful that you have brought this request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive His blessings. Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your reliance on Him, and we join you in that faith.
The fear you feel about being hired is understandable, especially when stepping into unfamiliar work, but we encourage you to take heart in the words of Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* God does not call us to rely on our own strength or experience but to trust in His provision and guidance. He has equipped you for this moment, even if it feels unfamiliar. Remember, Moses felt inadequate when God called him, yet the Lord assured him, *"I will be with your mouth, and teach you what you shall speak"* (Exodus 4:12). In the same way, the Lord will be with you in this new opportunity, teaching and guiding you every step of the way.
We also want to encourage you in your role as a mother. The Lord honors your commitment to provide for your family, and we pray that He grants you favor in the eyes of your potential employers. Proverbs 22:29 tells us, *"Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won’t serve obscure men."* While this job may seem humble, it is an opportunity to work with excellence for the glory of God. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Even factory work, when done unto the Lord, is a calling of dignity and purpose.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister before You, asking for Your divine favor and provision in her life. Lord, You know her needs, her fears, and her heart’s desires. You are the God who provides, and we ask that You open this door of employment for her. Remove any fear or doubt from her heart and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give her confidence as she steps into this new opportunity, knowing that You are with her and will never leave her nor forsake her.
Father, we pray that You soften the hearts of those making the hiring decisions, that they may see her worth, her willingness to learn, and her dedication. Let her skills and attitude shine brightly as a testimony of Your grace in her life. Provide for her family in ways that exceed her expectations, and let this job be a blessing not only financially but also as a place where she can grow and glorify You.
We also pray for strength for her as a single mother. Lord, be her ever-present help, her provider, and her comforter. Surround her with Your love and remind her daily that she is not alone—You are her heavenly Father, and You care deeply for her and her children. May this season be one where she sees Your hand moving powerfully in her life, drawing her closer to You.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Amen.
Finally, sister, we want to remind you that your worth is not found in this job or any earthly provision but in Christ alone. He has redeemed you, called you by name, and claimed you as His own. No matter the outcome of this job opportunity, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Trust in Him, seek His kingdom first, and He will provide for all your needs. Stay rooted in prayer, in His Word, and in the community of believers who can support and encourage you. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you, and most importantly, the Lord is fighting for you. Be strong and courageous!
