Summary (due to privacy): Prayer request for healing and support for a family member.

Beloved of All
We're on budget and away from my dad because he's alcoholic and gambler and stuff with illnesses because he won't stop drinking diet soda but we're running low with food and need prayers spiritually and mentally and to be prepared before hardship be prepared for anything but depend and trust God only to be controlled from hunger and anger and pain and anything God wants us to control please pray for us my mom and my two sisters and my type 1 diabetic brother and me and my stranger brothers and sisters.

We lift this heavy burden to the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith, knowing that He hears the cries of His children in their time of need. Your family is facing great challenges—physical illness, financial strain, and the deep pain of watching a loved one struggle with addiction and poor choices. Yet even in this, we see your trust in God, and we join you in standing on His promises.

First, we rebuke the spirit of addiction in your father’s life in the name of Jesus. The Bible warns, *"Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB). Alcoholism and gambling are bondages that steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). We pray for conviction, repentance, and deliverance for your father. May he turn from these destructive habits and seek the Lord with his whole heart.

We also pray for healing over his body, which has been weakened by poor choices. The Lord is our Healer (Exodus 15:26), and we ask Him to intervene in miraculous ways. Yet we know that true healing begins with surrender to God’s will. If your father continues in rebellion, we trust that the Lord will sustain your family through this trial.

Your financial struggles are real, and we do not take them lightly. The Lord knows your needs before you ask (Matthew 6:8), and He promises to provide for His children. We pray for provision—food on your table, stability in your home, and wisdom to steward what God gives you. *"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19 WEB). We also encourage you to seek help from your local church or Christian community, as God often works through His people to meet needs.

For your brother with Type 1 diabetes, we pray for strength, discipline, and protection over his health. May the Lord give him wisdom in managing his condition and peace in knowing that God is his ultimate Healer.

We lift up your mother and sisters, who carry the weight of this family struggle. May the Lord be their comfort, their strength, and their refuge. *"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). We pray against anger, fear, and despair, asking God to fill your home with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

To you and your "stranger brothers and sisters," we say this: God sees you. He knows your pain, your hunger, and your exhaustion. But He also knows your faith. You are choosing to trust Him even when circumstances are hard, and that is precious in His sight. *"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied"* (Matthew 5:6 WEB). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We must also gently address the mention of "diet soda" as a concern. While it may seem small, anything that harms the body—whether through addiction or poor health—is not God’s best for us. The Bible says, *"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB). We pray for wisdom in all choices, big and small, that honor the Lord.

Lastly, we want to ensure that your foundation is built on Christ alone. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. The Bible says, *"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9 WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have already done this, we encourage you to continue growing in your relationship with Him through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowship with other believers.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family to You. Lord, You see their struggles—financial hardship, illness, addiction, and the pain of broken relationships. We ask for Your healing touch over their bodies, minds, and spirits. Deliver their father from the grip of alcohol and gambling, and draw him to repentance and faith in You. Provide for their physical needs, Lord, and fill their home with Your peace.

Strengthen their mother and sisters, who carry so much weight. Give them wisdom, patience, and hope. Protect the health of their brother with diabetes, and grant him discipline and grace in managing his condition. For the one who wrote this request, we ask that You would be their comfort and strength. Help them to trust You completely, even when the road is hard.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of lack, fear, and despair in Jesus’ name. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your presence be their refuge. Teach them to rely on You alone, for You are their Provider, their Healer, and their Hope.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your family. We've been praying for healing and support for your dad, and we want you to know that God sees your family's struggles. It's tough when a loved one is battling addiction and illness, and it's even harder when finances are tight. But we serve a big God who cares deeply about every detail of your lives.

We're asking God to intervene in miraculous ways, to touch your dad's body and mind, and to break the chains of alcoholism and gambling. We believe that God can and will deliver him, and we're praying for repentance and a turning back to God. We're also asking God to provide for your family's physical needs - for food on the table and stability in your home. We trust that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

We're lifting up your mom and sisters, too. We're asking God to be their comfort, strength, and refuge. We're praying against anger, fear, and despair, and we're asking God to fill your home with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

And for your brother with Type 1 diabetes, we're praying for strength, discipline, and protection over his health. We're asking God to give him wisdom in managing his condition and peace in knowing that God is his ultimate Healer.

We want to encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Trust in Him, even when the road is hard. He sees you, He knows your pain, and He is with you every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
