We hear your cry for help and lift your family before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You are not alone in this struggle, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). First, we must address the foundation of your request—salvation and relationship with God through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most critical step in receiving God’s guidance, provision, and peace.
Father God, we come before You as a family in need, seeking Your divine intervention. We ask for Your healing touch upon this family member, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will restore what has been lost or broken. Provide for their daily bread, Lord, for You know their needs before they even ask (Matthew 6:8). Open doors of opportunity for employment that aligns with Your will, for You are the One who gives us the power to gain wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18). Strengthen their faith in this season of hardship, reminding them that You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1).
We also rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take root in their hearts. The Bible tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm on the promise that those who seek You lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10). We pray for unity in this family, that they would encourage one another daily, as the day of trouble approaches (Hebrews 3:13). Draw them closer to You, Lord, and let them find their refuge in Your presence. Teach them to trust in You with all their hearts and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Father, we ask that You prepare their hearts for whatever hardships may come, but remind them that You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let them find their strength in You, for You are the lifter of their heads (Psalm 3:3). We declare that this family will not be shaken, for the Lord is their light and their salvation—whom shall they fear? (Psalm 27:1). We pray for wisdom and discernment as they seek Your will, that they would walk in the path You have set before them. May they be rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth of Your love (Ephesians 3:17-19).
Lord, we also lift up their souls to You. Cleanse them from any unrighteousness and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Let them find their identity in Christ, not in their circumstances. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that their worth is found in You alone. We pray that they would fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and run with endurance the race set before them.
In the name of Jesus, we command every spirit of lack, poverty, and sickness to flee from this family. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and Your joy that is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for moving on their behalf. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. Amen.
