We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul and their family member in need of healing. Father God, we ask that You stretch forth Your healing hand upon this loved one, restoring them to full health according to Your perfect will. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We trust in Your promise, Lord, and ask that You bring comfort, strength, and peace to this family as they navigate this trial.
We also stand in agreement for the strength and grace needed to accomplish the goals set before this one. Philippians 4:13 reminds us, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Lord, empower them with Your might, that they may run and not grow weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). Grant them success and peace in their work, for it is You who establishes their steps (Proverbs 16:9). May they find satisfaction in their labor, knowing that their work is ultimately for Your glory.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You pour out Your wisdom upon this dear one, that they may walk in Your ways and find peace in every area of their life. James 1:5 assures us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We pray that You would guide their decisions, calm their fears, and fill their heart with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Now, regarding the desire for a boyfriend, we must approach this with biblical truth and discernment. While it is natural to long for companionship, we must first seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). The Bible instructs us that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Therefore, we encourage this one to seek a godly spouse rather than merely a boyfriend, for courtship should always have marriage as its goal. Proverbs 18:22 tells us, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh." Let us pray that God prepares their heart and the heart of their future spouse, that they may both be rooted in Christ and committed to honoring Him in their relationship.
We must also address the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is by His blood that we are redeemed (Ephesians 1:7). If this one has not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we urge them to do so, for salvation is found in no one else. Romans 10:9 declares, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one before You, asking for Your healing touch upon their family member. Grant them strength, grace, and wisdom as they pursue their goals and navigate their daily work. Fill their heart with Your peace and guide their steps in every decision. Lord, we ask that You prepare them for a godly marriage, should it be Your will, and that they would seek a spouse who loves You above all else. Above all, we pray that they would come to know You more deeply, surrendering their life to Jesus Christ if they have not already. May they walk in Your ways, find their identity in You, and experience the fullness of Your love and purpose for their life. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
