We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious family who is enduring such deep trials. Father God, we know that You see every tear, every struggle, and every injustice they are facing. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."* We stand in agreement with this truth, declaring Your nearness and deliverance over them.
Lord, we first ask for Your healing touch—both physically and emotionally—for this family. The wounds of financial manipulation and emotional abuse run deep, and we pray that You would bind up their broken hearts (Psalm 147:3). Bring restoration to their minds, peace to their spirits, and strength to their bodies. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to overwhelm them, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we also lift up the financial burdens they carry. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust in Your promise that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Open doors of opportunity, guide them to wise counsel, and grant them favor in resolving these financial struggles. We pray for stability in their living situation and ask that You would lead them to a safe and secure place where they can rebuild.
We must also address the sin that has contributed to their pain. Financial manipulation and emotional abuse are not of You, Lord. Your Word commands us to love one another, to bear each other’s burdens, and to act justly (Micah 6:8). We pray for conviction and repentance for the one who has caused harm, that they may turn from their ways and seek Your forgiveness. We also pray for wisdom and discernment for this family as they navigate boundaries and seek healing. Help them to extend grace where it is needed but also to stand firm in truth and righteousness.
Above all, we pray that this family would draw near to You, Lord. If they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May they find their hope, their identity, and their strength in You alone. Surround them with godly community—believers who will walk alongside them, pray with them, and encourage them in Your Word.
We declare over this family that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak restoration over their finances, peace over their hearts, and unity over their relationships. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness, for You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan for their lives.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
