We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul and their family member in need of healing. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. We ask You now to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this loved one. Touch their body, mind, and spirit with Your restoring power. Where there is pain, bring comfort; where there is weakness, bring strength; and where there is fear, bring Your perfect peace. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your mercy and faithfulness to sustain them.
Lord, we also lift up this brother or sister in Christ who has asked for strength and grace to accomplish their goals. Remind them daily that Your grace is sufficient, for Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). When the road feels long and the burdens heavy, help them to cast their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, discernment, and perseverance. May they not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
We pray for success and peace in their work. Father, You have promised that if we commit our ways to You, You will establish our plans (Proverbs 16:3). Give them favor with their employers and coworkers, and let their labor be a testimony to Your goodness. Guard their hearts against anxiety or frustration, and fill their workplace with Your presence. May they work as unto You, not for the approval of man, but as servants of Christ (Colossians 3:23-24). Where there is stress, bring Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Above all, we ask for wisdom in every area of life. Your Word tells us that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given (James 1:5). Lord, grant this dear one discernment in their decisions, clarity in their thoughts, and the courage to walk in obedience to Your will. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).
We rebuke any spirit of doubt, fear, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in their heart. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the promise that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5), and we claim victory in every area of their life through Christ Jesus.
Let us close in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You in the mighty name of Jesus. We lift up this family to You, asking for Your healing touch and Your sustaining grace. Strengthen them in their weakness, guide them in their decisions, and fill their hearts with Your peace. May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, knowing that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens them (Philippians 4:13). We ask that You would be glorified in every aspect of their lives, and that others would see Your love and power at work in them. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
