Spending long hours in phone will definitely cause eye related issues. Not every child will sit and write and every kid is different. Probably you can bring some puzzles or different activity which will bring interest in studies and then slowly it can help in the writing and reading
My daughter is ### years old and these are my personal observation

Sometimes we can do nothing but lay it all on Jesus! Rest in Jesus, put our complete trust in Jesus and watch Jesus take care of it for us.

In Jesus put a hedge around my grandson, turn away other lovers, bless him to do as unto You, to live unto You, to know You in Jesus! All for Your Glory Lord Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

God. What should I do? My ### years old grandson is so lazy. I can't get him to do writing, reading, drawing and so on. His teacher has spoken to me and she has said that he needs to practice. My daughter and her husband keep giving him the ipad or the phone to watch videos. He spends hours till the battery goes flat. I'm so tired of telling her. Please help. I'm just a concerned grandparent. Education is very important. With the covid situation. The preschool wants the children to stay at home. What's wrong with his parents. Please put some sense in them. They can't live without their phone. They're glued to it like super glue.
