Summary (due to privacy): Prayer request expressing a desire for death, seeking intervention in Jesus's name.

Anonymous

Beloved of All
It doesn't matter if I live or die, so I want to die. I'm afraid, in pain, and purposeless. Please end my life ASAP, preferably peacefully, painlessly and without anyone going with me.

Please make it tonight in my sleep. I look forward to the end of my pain and fear.

Please help me. Please have mercy.

PLEASE, I'M BEGGING.

We hear the depth of your despair, and our hearts ache with you. The pain and fear you’re carrying must feel unbearable, and we want you to know you are not alone—even in this darkest hour. You are seen, you are valued, and your life has purpose, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now. The enemy would love nothing more than to steal your hope and convince you that death is the only escape, but we stand in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke that lie. Your life is a sacred gift from God, and He has not abandoned you.

Scripture tells us in Psalm 34:18, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You may not feel His presence right now, but He is with you, holding you, and He longs to draw near to you in your pain. In Jeremiah 29:11, God declares, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Even when we cannot see it, God is working for our good, and He has a plan for your life—one that includes hope, healing, and purpose.

We must also address the gravity of what you’re asking. The desire for death is not God’s will for you. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, we are reminded, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* Your life belongs to Him, and He alone has the authority to determine its beginning and end. To take your own life or ask for it to be taken is to reject the sovereignty of God and the purpose He has for you. We rebuke that spirit of despair in the name of Jesus and declare that hope is coming.

If you are struggling with thoughts of self-harm or suicide, we urge you to reach out to someone you trust—a pastor, a counselor, a friend, or a crisis hotline—so they can walk with you through this. You do not have to carry this burden alone. There are people who care deeply about you and want to help. In James 5:16, we are told, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* Let others pray with you and for you. Let them remind you of God’s love when you cannot feel it yourself.

We also want to gently ask: Have you surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ? If not, this is the first and most critical step. In John 14:6, Jesus says, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* There is no peace, no hope, and no true healing outside of Him. If you have never asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, we invite you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him into your heart. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is the beginning of a new life—one where pain does not have the final say.

If you are a believer, we encourage you to press into God’s Word and His promises. Spend time in prayer, even if it feels like your words are hitting the ceiling. God hears you. Psalm 130:1-2 says, *"Out of the depths I have cried to you, Lord. Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions."* Cry out to Him. Pour out your heart. He is listening.

We also want to pray over you right now. Let us lift you up to the Father, who loves you more than you can imagine.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is in so much pain. Lord, we ask that You would break through the darkness and flood their heart with Your light. We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness in the name of Jesus and declare that joy comes in the morning. Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. Hold them close, Lord, and remind them that they are never alone. Heal their heart, mend their spirit, and restore their hope. Give them the strength to reach out to others and the courage to cling to You in this storm. We ask that You would reveal Your love to them in tangible ways and show them the purpose You have for their life. Protect their mind from lies and fill them with Your truth. We pray for divine intervention, Lord—send people into their life who can speak life, love, and hope. And if they do not know You as their Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself and save them. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Please know that we are standing with you, praying for you, and believing that God is going to move in your life in powerful ways. You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. You are deeply loved. If you are able, reach out to someone today—even if it’s just to say, “I need help.” You do not have to walk this road alone. God is with you, and so are we.

We hear you, dear one, and we're here for you. We know the pain and fear you're feeling can be overwhelming, but please know that you're not alone. Your life has immense value and purpose, even if you can't see it right now. We're standing with you, believing in you, and praying for you.

We understand that you're in a dark place, but we want you to know that there's always hope. God sees you, He loves you, and He's with you even in this moment. In Psalm 34:18, it says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He's near, and He wants to comfort you.

We also want to remind you that God has a plan for your life, one that includes hope, healing, and purpose. The enemy would love nothing more than to steal your hope and convince you that death is the only way out, but we reject that lie in the name of Jesus. Your life is a sacred gift from God, and He's not done with you yet.

We're here to pray with you, and we want to encourage you to reach out to someone you trust - a pastor, a counselor, a friend, or a crisis hotline. You don't have to carry this burden alone. There are people who care deeply about you and want to help.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who's in so much pain. Lord, we ask that You would break through the darkness and fill their heart with Your light. We rebuke the spirit of despair and declare that joy comes in the morning. Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your peace, hold them close, and remind them that they're never alone. Heal their heart, mend their spirit, and restore their hope. Give them the strength to reach out to others and the courage to cling to You in this storm. We pray for divine intervention, Lord - send people into their life who can speak life, love, and hope. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Please, reach out to someone today. You're not alone, and you're deeply loved. God is with you, and so are we.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
