Suicidal thoughts

Father please help I am battling suicidal thoughts I think God is not hearing my prayers it's been years I'm tired. I can't do this anymore, why do I have to be born in this life just to suffer and be in pain.

We hear the depths of your despair, and our hearts ache with you in this heavy burden you carry. The pain you describe is real, and the weight of feeling unheard by God after years of crying out is crushing. But we want you to know this: you are not alone, and your life is not without purpose, even when the darkness makes it impossible to see.

First, we must rebuke the lies of the enemy that whisper suicide as an escape. Scripture is clear: "The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly" (John 10:10). The enemy wants to destroy you, but Jesus came to give you life, real, eternal, and purposeful life. Taking your own life is not the answer; it is a permanent solution to a temporary storm. God sees your suffering, and He has not abandoned you, even when it feels that way.

You ask why you were born into this life of pain. We don’t have all the answers, but we know this: God does not delight in your suffering. "For I know the plans I have for you," says Yahweh, "plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). Even in the midst of pain, God is working for your good (Romans 8:28). Your life has value because you were created in His image (Genesis 1:27), and He has a purpose for you that the enemy wants to steal.

You feel like God isn’t hearing your prayers, but the Bible tells us, "The eyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous, and his ears open to their cry" (Psalm 34:15). He hears you. He sees you. And He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). The silence you feel does not mean He is absent, it may mean He is working in ways you cannot yet see. Keep crying out to Him. Keep seeking Him. "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:8).

We also want to gently ask: Have you surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ? If not, we urge you to do so now. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He is the only one who can carry this weight for you. If you have not invited Him into your heart as Lord and Savior, we plead with you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive His gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10).

Now, we lift you up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is in deep despair. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who heals. We ask You to break through the darkness that surrounds them. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of suicide and depression that is oppressing them. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life over them, Lord. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

We pray for divine intervention, Lord. Surround them with people who will speak life, hope, and truth into their situation. Lead them to biblical counsel, to godly friends, and to professional help if needed. Break the chains of isolation, Lord. Let them know they are not alone.

We ask for Your healing touch, Father. Heal their mind, their heart, and their spirit. Renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Restore their hope in You. Help them to see that their life has purpose and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, if they do not know You as Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). Draw them to Yourself, Jesus. Let them experience Your love in a way that transforms their life forever.

We thank You, Father, that You are faithful, and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We trust You to carry them through this valley. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We urge you to reach out to someone today, a pastor, a trusted friend, a Christian counselor, or a suicide hotline. You do not have to carry this alone. The body of Christ is here to walk with you. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).

Hold on, dear one. God is not done with you yet. Your story is not over. There is hope, and His name is Jesus.

We hear the raw, desperate cry of your heart, and it breaks ours too. You’re not just fighting suicidal thoughts, you’re carrying the weight of years of feeling unseen, unheard, and utterly exhausted by life. That kind of pain isn’t just emotional; it’s like a physical storm inside you, and we want you to know you’re not alone in this storm.

We’ve been there too, in moments where the silence of God felt deafening, where the darkness seemed to swallow every ounce of hope. But here’s what we’ve learned: even when God feels far away, He’s still there. The Bible says He “hears the cry of the afflicted” (Psalm 34:6). Maybe you haven’t felt His answer yet, but that doesn’t mean He’s not listening. Sometimes His response is a gentle whisper in the midst of the chaos, or a hand reaching out when you least expect it.

You asked why you were born into this life of pain. We don’t have all the answers, but we know this: God doesn’t waste suffering. He doesn’t delight in it, but He can use even the deepest valleys to shape you into something stronger, something more like Him. Think about Joseph, betrayed, sold into slavery, forgotten in prison, yet he said, “You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good” (Genesis 50:20). Your story isn’t over yet.

Right now, we’re praying for a breakthrough, one where you feel the presence of Jesus in a way that cuts through the fog. We’re asking Him to surround you with people who will speak truth, offer grace, and walk beside you. If you haven’t already, please reach out to someone, even if it’s just one person today. You don’t have to carry this alone.

And if you’ve never truly given your life to Jesus, we’re praying for you right now. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me will live, even though they die” (John 11:25). He’s the only One who can bring real, lasting peace to your soul. If you’re willing, we’d love to help you talk to Him about this. You’re not too far gone. You’re not too broken. He’s still waiting, still loving you, still reaching for you.

Hold on. We’re praying for you. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want you to know how deeply we’ve carried your heart before the Lord these past days. Your cry—“Father, please help”—has echoed in our spirits, and we have not stopped lifting you up, pleading for His peace to wrap around you like a shield. It grieves us to hear the weight of years pressing down on you, to sense the exhaustion in your words, to feel the ache of questions that seem to go unanswered. We stand with you in the raw honesty of your pain, declaring that you are seen, you are valued, and you are not alone.

If in these days you’ve glimpsed even a flicker of hope, a moment of relief, a whisper of His presence—we long to hear it. Your praise report would lift our hearts and glorify the God who hears the desperate. But if the darkness still feels heavy, if the battle rages on, please do not hesitate to post again. We are here to stand with you, to intercede with fresh faith, to remind you that your life matters deeply to the One who formed you in your mother’s womb. You were not born to suffer in vain; you were born to be loved, to be held, to be redeemed.

We pray now for the Holy Spirit to surround you with His comfort, to quiet the lies of despair with the truth of His Word, and to lead you to safe hands—whether through a trusted friend, a counselor, or a brother or sister in Christ who can walk beside you. May He reveal Himself to you in ways you’ve never expected, and may you feel the nearness of Jesus in the midst of the storm.

We continue to stand in agreement with you, believing that breakthrough is coming. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
