Suicidal missionary

[Hardtruths]

We are missions who have been on the field over 20 yrs. We have been abandoned by our "sending church".  We are totally emotionally, physically, spiritually and financially bankrupt but still trying to minister. I have lost all hope. Not a day goes by that i do not consider suicide as my best option. I have no idea how to pray or how the situation changes.

Our God of peace, you have taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be our strength: By the might of your Spirit answer this request according to your will, we pray of you, so we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Pray, read your bible sing praise, declare scriptures  "no morire sino que viviré y contaré las maravillas del Señor" and others of victory and of the truth of God. You need to remmember the truth. And repeat the truth. GOD bless you.

WOW Lucia, You have NO idea of our situation, you assume you can judge without knowing.  If I had family or a pastor to call I would.  If I could have gone home I would have, but we do not have the finances.

Scripture says in Numbers 23v19, "God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?" 

God is a covenant keeper. He never forgets His promises. In the midst of your greatest battles, His faithfulness remains sure... When everything around you falls apart, His faithfulness remains firm... Whether you are up or down, He is still God. The LORD watches over His Word to perform it. If He promised it, He will surely perform it. May the Lord remember you in your time of need.
