We hear the deep anguish in your words, and our hearts ache with you in this season of overwhelming trial. The weight you carry, physical suffering, emotional exhaustion, the relentless care for your mother and grandmother in a foreign land, is more than any one person should bear alone. Yet even in this place of loneliness and despair, you are not forsaken. The Lord sees you, knows your name, and holds your tears in His hands (Psalm 56:8). Your cry for mercy has reached His throne, and He does not turn away from the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

First, we must address the urgency of your physical condition. Severe dehydration, uncontrolled blood sugar, and the possibility of a tumor are not things to endure silently. Scripture tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to steward them with care. We strongly urge you to seek medical attention immediately, whether through local clinics, emergency services, or reaching out to a trusted believer in your area who can help you access care. Delaying could have grave consequences, and your life is precious to God. If financial or logistical barriers stand in the way, cry out to Him for provision (Philippians 4:19) and ask Him to lead you to those who can assist. The Lord often works through the hands and feet of His people, and He may be stirring compassion in someone nearby even now.

Your burden of caregiving is immense, and it is no wonder you feel drained. Jesus Himself said, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). He does not ask you to carry this alone. Have you shared your struggles with a local church or Christian community? Even in a foreign country, there are often fellow believers who can offer practical help, whether through respite care, meals, or simply a listening ear. If language or cultural barriers make this difficult, ask the Lord to open doors and soften hearts. He is the God who parts seas and moves mountains; He can surely move in the heart of a neighbor or a fellow believer to come alongside you.

The loneliness you feel is a heavy cross, but it is one Jesus understands intimately. On the night He was betrayed, His closest friends fell asleep while He prayed in agony (Matthew 26:36-46). He was abandoned, mocked, and forsaken, even by the Father for a time, so that you would never have to be utterly forsaken (Hebrews 13:5). When you say you feel “forsaken,” we must gently remind you that this is a lie from the enemy. Jesus promised, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). Even if every human relationship fails you, He is there. Even if your body betrays you, He is your healer (Exodus 15:26). Even if your strength gives out, His power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We must also speak truth about the root of your sadness. While grief and exhaustion are natural responses to your circumstances, prolonged despair can sometimes open the door to spiritual oppression. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he delights in whispering lies that you are alone, that God has abandoned you, or that your suffering is meaningless. But we rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus! The Lord works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28), even when we cannot see the purpose. Your pain is not in vain. Your tears are seen. Your cries are heard.

And what of your soul? You mentioned “Lord have mercy,” but we must ask: Have you placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? The Bible tells us that “there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, now is the time. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your forgiveness, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. He is the only one who can give you true peace in the midst of this storm (John 14:27). If you have already given your life to Christ, we encourage you to press into Him afresh. Spend time in His Word, even if it is just a few verses each day. The Psalms are a balm for the weary soul, read Psalm 23, Psalm 42, or Psalm 139, and let the truth of God’s love wash over you.

We also feel compelled to address the spiritual warfare at play here. The enemy would love nothing more than to see you give up, to believe that your suffering is meaningless, or to turn away from God in bitterness. But we declare that you are a child of the Most High God, and no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We take authority over every spirit of despair, loneliness, and sickness in the name of Jesus and command them to flee! We plead the blood of Jesus over your body, mind, and spirit, and we declare that you are covered by His grace and mercy.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear sister who is suffering in body, mind, and spirit. Lord, You see her exhaustion, her loneliness, and the weight she carries as she cares for her mother and grandmother. You know the depths of her pain, and You collect every tear she sheds. We ask, Father, that You would pour out Your mercy and grace upon her in this hour.

Lord, we pray for her physical healing. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You. We ask that You would stabilize her blood sugar, restore her strength, and reveal the source of her suffering, whether it be a tumor or another ailment. Lead her to the right doctors, the right treatments, and the right care. Provide for every need, both practical and financial, and surround her with people who can help bear this burden.

Father, we also pray for her emotional and spiritual healing. The enemy has whispered lies of abandonment and despair, but we declare that You are her ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that she is never alone, for You are with her always (Matthew 28:20). Restore her joy, Lord, and let her hope in You be renewed like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31).

We pray for her family as well. Give her mother and grandmother comfort and healing, and provide the care they need. Raise up helpers, whether through the local church, neighbors, or organizations, to come alongside our sister and lighten her load. Open doors for community, for friendship, and for practical support.

Lord, we ask that You would draw her closer to You in this season. Let her find solace in Your Word, strength in Your presence, and hope in Your promises. If she has not yet surrendered her life to You, we pray that she would do so now, that she would confess Jesus as Lord and receive the gift of eternal life. If she already knows You, deepen her faith and trust in You.

We rebuke every spirit of despair, sickness, and loneliness in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and that she will rise above this trial with a testimony of Your faithfulness. Strengthen her, Lord, and let her feel Your arms around her in this dark hour.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.

Dear sister, we want you to know that you are not forgotten. The road you are walking is hard, but it is not without purpose. The Lord is using this season to refine you, to draw you closer to Him, and to prepare you for the testimony He will birth from your pain. Cling to Him. Cry out to Him. And trust that He is working, even when you cannot see it.

If you are able, find a local church or Christian community, even if it is small or meets in a home. There is strength in the body of Christ, and you were never meant to walk this path alone. If you do not know where to start, ask the Lord to lead you to one person who can pray with you, encourage you, or help you practically. He will answer that prayer.

And remember: Your suffering is not in vain. Jesus suffered for you, and He suffers with you. He is acquainted with grief (Isaiah 53:3), and He will not leave you to face this alone. Hold on, dear one. The dawn will come.

It feels like you’re carrying years of exhaustion all at once, and we want you to know we hear how heavy that is. Dehydration, high blood sugar, the fear of a tumor, these are not small things, especially when you’re also caring for your mom and grandma while far from home. That kind of loneliness can eat at your soul.

The most urgent thing is your body right now. Severe dehydration and uncontrolled high blood sugar can become dangerous quickly. If you haven’t already, please try to connect with a doctor or a clinic as soon as you can, even if you’re in a foreign country and it feels daunting. Some local churches or international Christian ministries offer help navigating healthcare, or can just sit with you through the process. We’ll pray that God clears the way for you to get that medical attention.

We also see the caregiver in you, stretched thin. You’re not forgotten. God does not overlook the one who is worn down and alone. While we can’t promise a timeline for healing, we can stand with you in asking for His mercy to break through the weariness and the isolation.

Please don’t try to carry this alone. Is there one person you can reach out to today, a neighbor, a church contact, even someone online from your home country, just to speak your name and be seen? That small connection can be a lifeline.

We’re praying with you now:

Father, in Jesus’ name we lift up our tired sister. You see her body struggling, her heart aching, her mind worn thin from years of battle. Pour out Your mercy. Bring help for her physical needs, clear guidance to medical care, steady hands for those who treat her, and relief for the dehydration and blood sugar crisis. Quiet the fear about a tumor and give wisdom. Hold her close when loneliness presses in, and give her moments of rest even in the middle of caregiving. Comfort her mom and grandma, and let her sense Your presence near. We ask for strength for today, nothing more than needed, trusting You to carry the rest. Amen.

My dear friend,

I read your plea and my heart goes out to you in your deep affliction. You are parched with sorrow and sickness, worn thin by long years of battling against your own body and bearing the burdens of those you love. It is little wonder you feel lonely and forsaken, far from home and comfort. Yet let me remind you, there is One who knows fully what it is to be alone in suffering. Did not our blessed Lord tread the winepress alone, forsaken even by His nearest friends in His hour of need? He was deserted in Gethsemane, abandoned at His trial, and left to hang in solitary anguish upon the tree. No man stood with Him; no pitying voice was raised. He endured that desolation so that you might never be truly alone in your sorrow. He has gone before you into the depths, and He is with you now in that foreign land, in that sickroom, in the weariness of your soul.

The God of all mercy has tender regard for you. His compassions fail not. Think of poor Hagar, fleeing into the wilderness with a bitter heart and an uncertain end, yet there the Angel of the Lord found her by a well and spoke words of kindness. She felt wronged, she was running from what was good, and yet God met her. Even so, when you are smarting and distracted, His mercy can overtake you. He is not a God who is quick to anger, but slow, full of pity, and His power is great to deliver. He sees the intricate trials you bear, the sickness, the isolation, the weary round of care for your mother and grandmother. He has not forgotten. His tender provision is already made; before you ever cried, His mercy went before you. The precious blood of Christ was shed for sinners centuries before you drew a single breath of sorrow. He has loved you with an everlasting love, and His thoughts towards you are of peace, not of evil.

Pray on, dear soul. Prayer is the blessed forerunner of every mercy. Cry aloud to Him who hears the sighing of the prisoner and the groaning of the afflicted. Though your faith be weak, and your prayers but broken whispers, they rise to Heaven. The Lord delights in mercy, and He will not break the bruised reed nor quench the smoking flax. Look to Jesus, the great Interpreter, the Messenger of the Covenant, who comes to your conscience to speak a word in season. He is one among a thousand, yea, among ten thousand, the altogether lovely One. Trust Him with your whole case, your body, your mind, your loved ones, your very life. He is able to save to the uttermost. Rest in His finished work, and though the floods of trouble rise, you are in the ark, safe in Him. The deep waters shall not overflow you; they shall but lift you nearer to your God.

May the Lord, the God of all comfort, visit you with His salvation, grant you healing according to His will, and make His face to shine upon you in your lonely place. Cast your burden upon Him, and He will sustain you. The mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting. He will yet bring you out of the desert into a place of springs.

Yours in the tender sympathy of Christ Jesus.
