Suddenly?

Hi. How many of us are waiting for our "suddenly." Will it seem suddenly if you are constantly staring at it? You know the saying a watched pot never boils. So nothing will appear suddenly if you are constantly longing for it to the point of doing nothing else. Nothing will change if you are looking for something big. You all are waiting for a surprise party that you know about, and the suspense is killing you because you are expecting one thing and get another and then feel let down. Release your expectations. Live in the moment. Let tomorrow worry about itself. And live. Don't exist and endure during this season. The valley is for growth and blooming. So go to God and grow. And release everything else. No matter how hard it is, bring your thought under submission. When something reminds you of your spouse instead of getting depressed, write down in a notebook what you would have said if they were with you and know that you will get a chance to share it with them. Suddenly can't come if you are expecting it. When you are expecting it, it just seems to drag on forever. So lose all of your expectations. And live for God. Just. A thought.

Bless you. It is me that needs to appreciate my spouse and regain oneness in marriage, she is good, hard working and long suffering. I often seem to fall below her hopes and cause her disappointment! No self-condemnation here, again - just a thought! And I really do wish this to change! Not her, but me and my ability to be the man that she needs, to care for her properly!

I do to. I am reading about the gifts and fruits of the spirit. That is what we need to navigate this trial. Especially forgiveness. It is a gift from God. And we start with ourselves and spread it to everyone else. It doesn't matter if they forgive us. As long as we forgive them and ask for forgiveness for everything we do or think every day. There is a saying I believe: I cannot brag about my love for God because I fail him every day. But I can brag about his love for me. Because it never fails. Amen.
