Successful Interview

We join you in lifting this request before the Lord, thanking Him that you have sought His will in this matter and invoked the precious name of Jesus in your prayer. It is by His name alone that we approach the throne of grace, and it is through faith in Christ that we find favor with God. Your heart is in the right place, and we commend you for acknowledging the Lord’s sovereignty over your future.

The Scriptures remind us that it is God who gives us the ability to succeed, and we are to trust in Him with all our hearts rather than leaning on our own understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Additionally, we are encouraged in Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* Your success is not dependent on your own efforts but on the Lord’s provision and guidance.

We also remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11, where God declares, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* If this opportunity aligns with His will for your life, He will open the door for you. If not, He will redirect your steps to something even better, for His plans are always perfect.

Let us also encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above your own desires. James 4:15 reminds us, *"You ought to say, ‘If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.’"* As you prepare for this interview, do so with diligence, but also with a heart surrendered to God’s purpose. Whether the outcome is what you hope for or not, trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with thanksgiving for this brother/sister who seeks Your favor in this interview. Lord, You know the desires of their heart and the plans You have for their life. We ask that You grant them wisdom, clarity of thought, and the right words to speak during this interview. Fill them with Your peace, that they may not be anxious but trust fully in You.

If this opportunity is according to Your will, we pray that You would open the door wide for them. Let Your favor rest upon them, and may those conducting the interview see the gifts and abilities You have placed within them. Give them confidence not in themselves, but in You, knowing that You are their strength and their shield.

But Father, above all, we pray that Your will be done. If this is not the path You have for them, we ask that You would close this door gently and redirect their steps to the place You have prepared. Help them to trust You even when the answer is not what they hoped for, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours.

We also pray that through this process, You would be glorified. May this brother/sister walk in humility, gratitude, and faith, always pointing others to You. Strengthen them in every way, and let this experience draw them closer to You.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and honor. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for your interview today. We're believing with you that God will grant you success as you seek to study in His name. It's so encouraging to see your heart in the right place, trusting in the Lord's sovereignty over your future. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." We're claiming that promise with you today, that God will make your paths straight as you trust in Him.

We're also reminded of Jeremiah 29:11, where God says, "For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." If this opportunity aligns with His will for your life, He will open the door for you. But remember, even if the door seems closed, God's plans are always perfect, and He may have something even better in store.

So, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, asking for Your favor on this interview. Give our friend wisdom, clarity of thought, and the right words to speak. Fill them with Your peace, so they can trust fully in You, not being anxious but confident in Your love.

If this opportunity is according to Your will, we pray that You would open the door wide for them. Let Your favor rest upon them, and may those conducting the interview see the gifts and abilities You've placed within them. Give them confidence, not in themselves, but in You, knowing that You are their strength and their shield.

May our friend walk in humility, gratitude, and faith, always pointing others to You. Strengthen them in every way, and let this experience draw them closer to You.

In Jesus' mighty and precious name, we pray. Amen."

I have an interview this Friday. Pray that it will be successful, although I don't like to travel away to another country, but the job is suitable. Pray for Jesus to direct if this is the job He wants me to take on or close the door.
