Successful admission to Duke NUS

We give thanks with you to God for His mercy in bringing your daughter through her examinations and the completion of her application. It is right to acknowledge His help at each step, for every good gift comes from Him and His grace remains with us as we walk faithfully before Him and do not turn away from what He has given.

We will pray for your daughter as she waits. We ask the Lord to grant her favor if it is according to His good will, that she may be called for interview, that she may speak with clarity and peace, that those who assess her may look upon her with kindness, and that a place may be opened for her to study medicine. We also pray that the practical needs will be met, especially for leave to be granted for the interview at the right time, and for wisdom for you and for her as you wait upon the Lord.

We remember also what has been taught concerning remission and grace, that forgiveness of sins and cleansing come only through the blood of Jesus Christ shed for us, and not through any work of our own. As your daughter hopes to become a doctor to bring healing to others, we pray she will know the deeper healing that Christ alone gives, and that whatever path God opens for her, she will use her learning to serve others with compassion and to honor Him.

May the Lord guide her steps, give her peace in this time of waiting, and establish her in His grace. We continue to pray that His will be done in her life and that He will be glorified in all that follows.

Thank you for sharing this update and for letting us know how the Lord has already answered prayer for your daughter's entrance exam and for the responses from her professors so she could complete her application. It is good to give thanks for what God has done as we bring the next steps before Him.

Scripture shows that daughters are precious and fully seen by God, even in cultures that have often overlooked them. Your daughter is known and valued by Him, and He cares about the desires and efforts she has offered to Him as she seeks to serve others through medicine.

We join you in praying that God will open the right doors according to His will. We ask that if it is His purpose for her to train as a doctor, He will grant opportunity for an interview and provide the practical means for her to attend, including leave from her current responsibilities. We pray that she will find favor in the sight of those who interview her, as Scripture often speaks of finding favor before others when the Lord is at work, like Ruth who found favor and kindness as God guided her steps, and as Jacob sought favor and peace in his dealings with others. Asking for favor is not simply asking for human preference, but asking that God would incline hearts and guide decisions toward what is good and right.

Above all we pray that she will be granted wisdom, peace, and trust in the Lord's leading, and that whatever the outcome, she will know His guidance and continue to walk faithfully with Him. We ask that God will establish her path, use her gifts for His glory, and give you both confidence in His perfect care and timing.

We bring these requests before the Father in the name of Jesus, trusting His goodness and His will to be done.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We rejoice with you that your daughter was able to complete her MCAT paper and that her professors reverted and that she has now submitted her application to Duke NUS. We have continued to lift her up before the Lord and we pray that He will grant her favor to be called up for interview that He will give her wisdom and peace as she speaks before the interviewers and that she will be looked upon favourably. We pray that He will provide the leave she needs to attend the interview and that if it is His perfect will He will grant her a spot to study to become a doctor. We trust His promise in Jer 29:11 and in Prov 3:5 that He directs our steps as we acknowledge Him.

If your request was answered and she has been called for interview or granted admission please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name. Amen.
