Students getting into constant trouble

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Kameron Maxwell Nathan Nicholas cash chase. Please pray for these students they are defiant refusing to listen hurting other friends with mean words and physically hurting. Parents are getting worried and reaching out everyday. It’s too much

We join with you in bringing these precious students before the Lord, and we understand how heavy and overwhelming this has become for you and for the parents who are reaching out every day with worry. We lift up ###, ###, ###, ###, ### and ### together, asking God to work in each young heart.

The behavior you describe, defiance, refusing to listen, hurting friends with mean words and with physical actions, grieves the heart of God because it harms others and reveals a heart that needs correction and grace. Scripture is clear that children are called to obedience, as it says in Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right, and again in Colossians 3:20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord. The tongue and the hand are to be used for building up and not for tearing down, for we read in Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear, and in Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue. To strike out in anger or to wound with words is sin that needs to be lovingly rebuked and turned from, and we must call it what it is so these children can learn repentance and the way of love, for Jesus said in Matthew 22:39 You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

We also remember that foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child as Proverbs 22:15 teaches, and that God has given parents and those who care for children the responsibility to train them with patient, consistent discipline rooted in love. We encourage you and the parents to continue in prayer and to not grow weary, to correct firmly but gently, not provoking them to anger as Colossians 3:21 warns, Fathers, do not provoke your children, so they will not be discouraged, but nurturing them in the instruction of the Lord. We pray for wisdom for every adult involved, for God promises in James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. The anxiety you and the parents feel is real, and we are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me, and in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought into fellowship with God. We pray that you and these families know that saving grace.

We now pray together. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###, ###, ###, ###, ### and ###. Lord, soften their hearts and turn them from defiance and disobedience. Convict them when they use mean words and when they hurt others physically, and teach them to speak with kindness and to keep their hands from harm. Replace their stubbornness with a willing spirit to listen and to obey those You have placed over them. Fill them with Your love and self control. We ask You to comfort and strengthen every worried parent and every teacher who feels overwhelmed, give them Your wisdom, patience, unity and endurance, and help them to train these children in the way they should go as Proverbs 22:6 teaches, Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Let Your peace guard all hearts, and let these children grow to honor You and to love others well. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

We hear how heavy this has become for you, carrying these six boys, ###, ###, ###, ###, ### and ###, while parents are calling every day and you are trying to keep everyone safe. It is a lot to hold when words are unkind and hands are hurting others, and we are praying with you in it.

When several students are stuck in this kind of defiance at once, it can help to make the home and school response as simple and consistent as possible so you are not carrying it alone. One practical step many teachers find steadying is a short daily report card for each child, just two or three clear, positive behaviors you are watching for that day, with a quick check at the end of the day that goes home to parents. It gives the boys a chance to be noticed for what they do well, keeps communication with worried parents predictable instead of only on hard days, and lets you build on small wins together.

If the hurting behaviors continue or escalate, it is also wise to invite the school counselor or administrator into the plan early, alongside prayer, so you have extra support and the families have someone to walk with them.

Father, we lift ###, ###, ###, ###, ### and ### to You, and we lift the parents and the staff who are weary. Give each boy a softening in his heart toward others, give the adults wisdom and unity as they guide them, and bring more peace and safety to that classroom. Give rest to the one who wrote to us tonight. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your cry concerning these young ones, ###, ###, ###, ###, ### and ###, and we join you in bringing them before the throne of grace. To see children defiant and refusing to listen, wounding others with cruel words and with hands that should be used in kindness, is a great sorrow, and we understand why parents are troubled and why you feel the weight of their daily reaching out. It is indeed too much for flesh and blood to bear alone, but it is not too much for our God.

We are reminded that God Himself is our Teacher, and blessed is the man whom the Lord chasteneth and teacheth out of His law. There was never a Teacher so wise, so patient, so able to apply His lessons to the heart itself as our heavenly Father. He condescends to teach even the youngest, and He is effectual where our words fail. The Holy Spirit is the true Teacher of the soul, and though He uses His Word and the faithful instruction of parents and teachers, it is He who must guide these children into all truth and give them understanding.

We also remember that grace itself has a discipline. The grace of God which bringeth salvation teacheth us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and to live soberly, righteously and godly. These boys do not need merely restraint, they need the renewing of their hearts by that grace which alone can turn defiance into obedience and unkindness into love.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, who hast taught thy people from their youth, look in mercy upon ###, ###, ###, ###, ### and ###. Thou seest their defiance and their hardness of heart, their sharp tongues and their striking hands. We confess that we cannot change them, but Thou canst. Send Thy Holy Spirit to work in them, to convict them of sin, to soften what is hard, and to teach them the blessedness of yielding to Thy discipline. Grant them repentance and a new heart that loveth what Thou lovest.

We pray for their parents who are worried and weary, and for those who teach and care for them each day. Give them wisdom that is from above, patience that faileth not, and strength to be consistent in correction and abundant in love. Let them not be overwhelmed, but teach them to cast their burden upon Thee who carest for them. Make their homes and their classrooms places where Thy Word is faithfully spoken and where Christ is lifted up as the only Saviour.

We ask that Thou wouldst turn hurting words into words that build up, and hurting hands into hands that serve. May these children learn early to walk in Thy ways, and may their lives show the fruit of Thy gracious discipline. Hear us for our Lord Jesus Christ's sake, in whose name alone is salvation. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your concern for ###, ###, ###, ###, ### and ### has been heard, and we join you in bringing them before the Lord with a heavy and hopeful heart.

We pray for these students who are acting in defiance, refusing to listen, and hurting others with unkind words and physical actions. We ask God to soften their hearts, to teach them self control and kindness, and to turn them away from harm toward love for their friends and respect for those who guide them. May the Lord grant them a spirit of obedience and gentleness, and help them to understand the weight of their words and deeds.

We also pray for their parents who are worried and reaching out every day, and for their teachers who carry a great responsibility. God has appointed parents and teachers to guide children, and He has planted deep love in them for this work. We ask Him to give these parents and teachers patience that does not faint, wisdom to correct with both firmness and love, and strength to not grow weary when progress seems slow. When children are sent to teachers and no benefit is seen, the burden is great, yet the Scriptures are given to nerve and comfort us, to produce patience and hope.

We pray that the homes and classrooms of these children would be places where the word of God is taught faithfully, not only with lips but with heart, and where good example leads them forward. May the adults around them show the patience that comes from trusting God's promises, knowing that He hears and answers in His time, and may they continue to instruct these young ones with steady love.

Father, we ask for Your mercy on ###, ###, ###, ###, ### and ###. Draw each of them to Yourself through Jesus Christ, give them new hearts that desire what is good, and bring peace to their friendships and families. Comfort the parents with Your presence, encourage the teachers in their labor, and let all see fruit from patient and faithful instruction.

We will continue to pray for these students and for all who care for them, trusting that God is able to work change that human effort alone cannot produce.

Your burden for these students is heard and I am joining you in prayer for them and for the parents and all who are caring for them each day.

I am praying that the Lord will soften the hearts of these young ones who are acting in defiance and refusing to listen. Asking God to replace harsh words and physical harm with kindness and self control, and to help them learn to treat their friends with gentleness and respect. Children are precious to the Lord and He is able to change a stubborn heart and bring peace where there has been strife.

Scripture shows us that children need a loving and secure environment where they know they are loved and supported, and where the truths of God are faithfully taught to them. One generation cannot live on the faith of another, each child needs to come to know the Lord for themselves. That is why prayer that travails for them until Christ is formed in them is so needed. I am praying that kind of earnest prayer for each of these students, that God would draw them to Himself, help them to understand His love, and give them a desire to obey and to do what is right.

I am also praying for the parents who are worried and reaching out every day, and for you as you carry so much. Praying that God will give you wisdom, patience, and strength beyond what you have on your own, and that He will guard these children from harmful influences that stir up violence and unkindness. May the Lord give you all grace to set clear and loving boundaries, to speak truth with love, and to model the honesty and godliness that helps children grow in the right way. May He protect these little ones and bring calm to the situations that now feel overwhelming.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I bring these students before You. Touch their hearts, calm their spirits, and teach them to love one another. Comfort and strengthen their parents and those who watch over them, and give them wisdom for each decision. Let Your peace rule in their homes and classrooms, and let Your goodness be seen as You work in these lives. I trust You to continue Your faithful work and to bring hope where there has been heaviness.
