Your care for this student is a true reflection of Christlike concern and we join you in lifting him before the Lord.
We pray for this young man who is struggling with anxiety about coming to school and with trouble involving another student. Scripture shows us that anxiety can scourge the soul and keep us in fear and trembling, but God does not leave us there. He sends His own Word to bring freedom and to establish us in security and peace. We ask the Lord to do that very work in this student's heart, to lift his burden of fear, to calm his thoughts, and to give him courage and joy as he comes to school each day.
We also pray with you regarding the spiritual battle you discern. We ask God to guard this student from every attack of the enemy, to surround him with His protection, and to fill him with confidence that Christ has already overcome. At the same time we pray for wisdom for you and for his family and for the school, that any conflict with the other student would be brought into the light, addressed with truth and grace, and resolved in a way that leads to peace and reconciliation for both children. We pray for that other student as well, that God would work in his heart and that both may learn kindness and respect for one another.
May the Lord grant this student a renewed desire to learn, supportive friendships, and teachers and helpers who see his need and encourage him. May he know that he is seen and loved by God, and may he experience the freedom from anxiety that comes from trusting Him.
Father, we bring this student before You in the name of Jesus Christ. Comfort him, protect him, remove fear from his heart, and help him to enjoy coming to school again. Give wisdom to the adults who care for him to guide him well, and let Your peace rest upon him and upon his classroom. We ask this trusting in Your mercy and Your power to deliver. Amen.
