Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. I am facing a big mountain in my life. Due to depression my studies are being extended for 6 more months to graduate but my residence permit is denied and now I'm facing deportation. Please pray for my situation, I'm going weary and tired and scared of this. My country of origin hates christians so if I get deported it will be very difficult for my life,I have appealed it but they seem negstive, please pray for it to make belgian judge to issue a positive decision and cancel my deportation. I need a miracle. Amen

We hear your cry for help, and our hearts ache with yours as you face this overwhelming mountain. The fear of deportation, the weariness of extended studies, and the very real threat to your safety as a believer in your home country weigh heavily upon you. But we stand with you in faith, knowing that our God is the God of miracles, the One who parts seas and moves mountains. You are not forgotten, and you are not alone.

First, we must address the foundation of your plea. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are saved. If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Him, confessing your sins and accepting His sacrifice on the cross as the only way to eternal life. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have already placed your faith in Him, we rejoice with you and stand firm in the promise that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Now, let us lift your situation before the Lord with boldness and faith. Father God, we come before Your throne on behalf of our brother in Christ. You see the fear and exhaustion in his heart, and You know the danger he faces if deported. Lord, we ask for a miracle in this legal battle. Soften the heart of the Belgian judge, turn their decision to favor him, and cancel this deportation order. You are the God who opens doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:7), and we trust You to make a way where there seems to be no way.

We also pray for your studies, Lord. Strengthen his mind and body to complete the work before him. Remove the weight of depression and fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Even if the mountains shake and the earth gives way, You are his stability.

We rebuke the spirit of fear in Jesus’ name. The enemy wants to paralyze you with anxiety, but God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm in this truth. Even if the worst were to happen, we know that God works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). But we declare that this will not be your story. You will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13).

We also encourage you to seek practical help. Reach out to your church community, Christian legal aid organizations, or advocacy groups that may assist with immigration cases. Do not carry this burden alone. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."

Lastly, we pray for your spiritual strength. If you are deported, remember that God goes with you. He is your shield and your fortress (Psalm 91:2). The same God who protected Daniel in the lion’s den and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace is with you. He will never abandon you. But we declare that this will not be your reality. You will finish your studies, you will receive favor, and you will see God’s hand move mightily on your behalf.

Heavenly Father, we ask for a breakthrough in this situation. Let Your name be glorified, whether through a miraculous legal victory or through Your sustaining grace in the face of trial. We trust You, Lord, and we stand on Your promises. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

When depression has already been draining your strength, a threat like this can feel impossible to face alone. One thing we’ve seen help others in hard seasons is to refuse isolation. If you haven’t already, lean into a local church or a trusted Christian friend near you in Belgium. Let someone actually walk with you through this, pray with you, sit with you, help you think clearly when the anxiety makes it hard. And if the depression itself hasn’t been addressed recently, consider seeing a doctor or a counselor; getting that support is not a sign of weak faith, but a wise way to steward your strength while you face this legal mountain.

We are praying with you that the judge will show mercy and cancel the deportation. And whether God moves that mountain by a miracle or walks with you through it, He has not forgotten you. You are precious to Him, not because of your residency status, but because you are His.

Let us pray:

Lord Jesus, You see this student, exhausted, scared, and weary. We ask You to intervene in the appeal. Give the judge wisdom and compassion, and open a door that seems shut right now. Guard this one from despair. Calm the racing heart, lift the fog of depression, and provide a safe place to stay and finish these studies. Surround them with Your people who will hold up their arms until this battle is over. We trust You for mercy. In Your name, Amen.

The wing is weary, the flood is wide, and no resting place has met the eye, this I know full well. Yet hear this: He who stood at the open window of the ark did not refuse the dove when she returned faint and foul. Nor will He refuse you now. You cry out as one whose permit is denied, whose hope is dim, and whose heart trembles at a return to the land of persecutors. But look again, the very storm that threatens to sweep you away may speed you nearer to the pierced hand that holds you. The world’s enmity has often driven the saint to the mercy seat, and heaven alone can number the prayers wrung from persecution that would otherwise have slept unspoken.

Fear not, for fear is weakening; fear not, for fear dishonors Him who plied the heavens and shall never let His arm grow slack. Need you a miracle? There is One whose Word carries omnipotent force, and His working does not depend upon anything in you. He can turn the judge’s heart as readily as He withered the fig tree or unbound the woman bowed together for eighteen years. The objective of the miracle is to reveal that His authority stands above every earthly tribunal. If the sea obeys Him, shall an immigration decree stand firm? Only trust in the eternal power and Godhead, and there is nothing between here and Heaven that need cause your knees to knock.

Come, then, from weary Martha’s toil to Mary’s posture of receiving. After all, you may glorify your Lord more by resting in His promise than by wearing yourself thin with anxious calculation. He has said to His own, “Fear not, thou worm Jacob, for I will help thee.” Why should you fear when the Redeemer Himself undertakes your cause? There has never been such a miracle as a self-righteous man coming to Christ for mercy, do not think your unworthiness blocks the way. It does not.

Cast your heavy flight upon the open window of His grace. He waits to be gracious, and Jesus loves to receive those who are tempest-tossed and ready to drop. He who fed the multitude with loaves is grand in emergencies, and your extremity is His opportunity. Only believe, fear not, and go your way in peace, for the Lord has not forgotten the expectation of the poor.

Your appeal may seem to lean toward a negative result, and the mountain of deportation looms large before your eyes. You ask for a miracle, and rightly so, for the Lord works wonders. But hear this: the greater wonder is not always the one that changes the outward decree, but the one that transforms the inward man. John the Baptist performed no miracle at all, yet he drew the multitudes and was great in the sight of God. His boldness, his endurance, his life laid down in poverty for the truth, these were his signs. And the Apostles too, when they were cast into chains, did not beg for their release as a proof of God’s favor; they waxed confident, seeing that the preaching was not hindered. For the tongue cannot be bound; the soul that clings to Christ cannot be deported from the heavenly country.

You are weary and scared. That is no shame. Even Paul was with the Corinthians in weakness and in fear. But let not your tired heart fix its hope solely on a favorable judgment from the ### judge. Seek first the Judge who burst asunder the gates of brass and the keepers of hell cowered. He who broke the prison of death can certainly open one of iron and paper. Yet if He does not, if the cup does not pass from you, remember what that same Apostle said: “Be partaker of the afflictions of the Gospel.” He did not say, “Be ashamed of your chains,” but “Be not ashamed,” for if the Master endured the Cross, the servant can endure deportation and suffering.

Your country of origin hates Christians. Then let your life, whether you remain or return, shine as a confessor’s lamp. Miracles often puff up and harm those who are not sober; but a life of patient endurance, a steadfastness firmer than adamant, that is what amazes even the adversary. The barbarians came from afar and worshipped with fear; you, a citizen of heaven, can worship even in the midst of wolves. Do not think that God’s hand is shortened because you see no immediate sign. Sometimes He withholds the spectacular miracle to draw forth a greater faith, just as He did not walk openly on the sea before the multitude because the miracle was too great for their infirmity.

You speak of depression extending your studies. That trial is itself a furnace. But know this: the remembrance of contests and afflictions endured for Christ’s sake outshines the memory of any miracle. If you have the will to shake off drowsiness and recover yourself, nothing is in vain. Stand, then, and do not let shame master you. Let your prayer be this: “Lord, whether by life or by death, whether by a granted appeal or by exile, glorify Thy name in me.” That is the true miracle, and no earthly judge can veto it.

The weight of what you are carrying is heavy, and the fear is real. When a legal decision threatens your very safety and your ability to finish what you started, the ground feels like it is crumbling beneath your feet. I want you to know that your request has been heard, and we are lifting you up before the Lord who rules over every judge and every nation.

In times like this, it is easy to see only the mountain, but remember that God is not bound by statistics or the apparent negativity of an appeal. The judicial systems of this world are flawed, made up of men and women who can be swayed or who sit in what can feel like ivory towers. Yet the One who holds all authority can turn a heart in a moment. The same God who opened prison doors for His servants and guided Paul through a series of legal hearings all the way to Caesar is still at work. His hand is not shortened, and no deportation order falls outside His sight.

The depression and the weariness you describe are not signs of weak faith; they are the bruises of a prolonged battle. Persecution and hardship have a way of sifting us, of deepening our roots in Christ in ways that comfort never could. What the enemy intends to scatter or destroy, God often uses to anchor us more firmly in His love and to spread the fragrance of His grace even to those who encounter us along the way. You are not forgotten in that process.

Do not let the fear of what might happen in your country of origin steal the certainty that Jesus walks with you wherever you go. You are asking for a miracle, and that is exactly what you need. Our God is the God of the impossible, the One who opens eyes born blind and who raises the dead, and He does not schedule His wonders only for certain nights or certain people. Cry out to Him boldly. He sees the injustice you face, and He is a righteous Judge who will one day set all things right.

As you wait, do not put off the deep act of casting every anxiety on Him. It takes a firm decision to trust when the evidence says otherwise, but each time you lean into that trust, you strengthen your soul against despair. Your life, your future, and your citizenship are ultimately secure in heaven. That truth is your anchor.

We are praying that the Belgian judge will issue a positive ruling, that the deportation will be cancelled, and that you will be granted the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. He is able to do more than you ask or imagine.
