We understand that you are facing a stubborn challenge with the repeated rejection of your stay permit in the Netherlands. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, including governments and their decisions. As it says in Romans 13:1, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God."
However, this does not mean that we should not petition God in matters where we feel His intervention is needed. We should always approach God's throne with confidence, as Hebrews 4:16 tells us, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
In this situation, we should also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing repeated rejection of their stay permit in the Netherlands. Lord, You know the desires of their heart and the reasons behind their request. We pray that Your will be done in this situation. If it is Your will for them to remain in the Netherlands, we pray that You would soften the hearts of those in authority and allow their permit to be extended.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any spiritual opposition that may be hindering the approval of their stay permit. We claim victory in this situation, knowing that all things are possible with God.
However, Lord, if it is Your will for our brother/sister to return to their home country, we pray that You would give them peace and guidance in this transition. Help them to trust in Your plan for their life, even when it is difficult to understand.
Lord, we also pray for the salvation of those in authority who are making these decisions. May they come to know You as their personal Lord and Savior, and may their decisions be guided by Your wisdom and compassion.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior And it is in His name we pray, Amen.
