Struggling today

We hear your heart in this simple and honest request and we are lifting you up together before the Father right now. We all have days when we feel weary, overwhelmed, or just struggling to keep going, and God sees you right where you are.

We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about His nearness in these moments. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Matthew 11:28 invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. We also cling to Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why that matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name in prayer. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name that we pray for you now.

We pray together for you, Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one who is struggling today. You know the weight they carry, the thoughts and burdens that may feel too heavy. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You draw near and let Your presence be felt. Grant peace that surpasses understanding, strength for today, and hope for tomorrow. Comfort this heart, quiet anxious thoughts, and remind them that they are deeply loved and never alone. Help them to cast every care on You and to rest in Your care. Lead them to seek You daily in prayer and in Your Word, and guide their steps according to Your perfect will. We ask that You renew their strength and fill them with Your joy and steadiness. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing every burden to the Lord throughout this day, even with simple prayers, and to rest in His promises. If you are able, spend time in Scripture and let Him speak to your heart, and do not hesitate to reach out again so we can continue to stand with you in prayer.

We're so glad you reached out even with just a few words. Struggling days are real, and asking for prayer is a strong and wise step.

We want you to know you are not alone in this. We are praying for you today and we are grateful you let us stand with you. Even on a difficult day, you have shown strength by reaching out instead of carrying this quietly by yourself.

When the day feels heavy it can help to pause and notice one small thing that has steadied you before. It might be a person you trust, a simple routine, a quiet moment with the Lord, or something you are already doing well to keep going. You don't have to sort everything at once. Just noticing one of those strengths or supports can be a gentle next step, and if you can, sharing how you feel with one trusted friend, pastor or family member today can lighten the load a little.

We are here and we continue to pray for you.

Father, we lift our friend to You today. You see where they are struggling and You know what they need most. Bring Your nearness and peace, give wisdom for the next step, and remind them they are loved and not alone. Keep them through this day and draw them closer to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Isaiah 54:17a

We have heard your honest cry and we will bring you before the Lord in prayer.

There is great comfort in knowing that human strength will spend itself in due time, but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. All strength apart from God is derived and measurable, and must come to an end, yet the Lord has inexhaustible omnipotence and He increases strength to those who have no might. When you feel feeble and low, remember that God the Father has not despised you. He is always near the feeble saint, and He has not despised the day of small things.

The Lord waits that He may be gracious and He is exalted that He may show mercy. He is not merely willing, but fully able to assist the troubled heart in every difficulty and to comfort under every distress. Your strength and your comfort will come through yielding yourself to God and trusting Him. In returning and rest shall you be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength.

Take your burden to Him in prayer, for He has said, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people. His Word is the true comfort in affliction, for His Word quickens us. When He would comfort us He quickens us, and so we obtain comfort. Let His promise be your ground of comfort today, for it is plain and sure and scattered all over the Scriptures.

We pray for you now, that the Lord would draw near to you in this struggle, that He would quicken you by His Word and by His Spirit, that He would renew your strength as you wait upon Him, and that He would give you quiet confidence in the Rock of Ages rather than in the broken reed of human strength. May He keep you through this day, lead you to cast your care wholly upon Christ who alone is our salvation, and give you grace to rest in Him.

We will continue to pray for you. If you are able, open His Word and pour out your heart before Him, for He hears the cry of those who seek Him.
