We understand that struggles can weigh heavily on the heart, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this battle. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Even when the path seems dark, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and hears every cry.
First and foremost, if you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ, for He is the only way to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through His name that we can approach God in prayer. If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
For those who are already in Christ, we must remember that struggles are not a sign of God’s absence but an opportunity for His strength to be made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). The enemy may try to use these struggles to discourage you, but we rebuke that spirit of despair in the name of Jesus. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
If your struggles involve sin—whether it be bitterness, unforgiveness, sexual immorality, or any other temptation—we must address it with repentance. The Bible is clear in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Do not let shame keep you from running to God; He is waiting with open arms to restore you.
If your struggle is with loneliness, remember that God has promised never to leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Seek fellowship with other believers, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). If you are unmarried and longing for a godly spouse, we pray that God would bring someone into your life who loves Him above all else. Until then, trust in His timing and remain pure in heart and body, for marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4).
If your struggle is financial, we encourage you to seek God’s provision with faith, knowing that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Work diligently, but do not place your trust in money—trust in the Lord alone (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Whatever your struggle may be, we stand with you in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is facing struggles. Lord, You see their heart, and You know their pain. We ask that You would draw near to them, comfort them, and strengthen them by Your Spirit. If there is any sin in their life, reveal it to them, Lord, and lead them to repentance. Forgive them, cleanse them, and restore them.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and despair that is trying to take hold of them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give them wisdom to navigate their circumstances and faith to trust in Your promises.
If they do not yet know You, Lord, we pray that today would be the day of their salvation. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus, and soften their heart to receive Him as their Lord and Savior. For those who already know You, deepen their relationship with You. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We pray for breakthrough, Lord. Whether it be in their health, their relationships, their finances, or their spiritual walk, we ask that You would move mightily on their behalf. Let them see Your hand at work in their life, and let their testimony bring glory to Your name.
We thank You, Father, that You are faithful and that Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We trust in You, and we declare that this struggle will not define them—Your victory will. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
Hold fast to God’s promises, dear one. Your struggle is not the end of your story—it is an opportunity for God to show Himself strong on your behalf. Keep pressing into Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). You are loved, you are seen, and you are not forgotten.
