May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your request has been heard and we are praying for you in your weakness and faintness, and with the inflammation and difficulty you have with eating.

God cares about your body and not only your spirit. The prophet Isaiah spoke of the Messiah bearing our sicknesses and carrying our pains, and Matthew under the guidance of the Holy Spirit shows that Jesus fulfilled this when He healed the many who were brought to Him. That suffering of Christ is broad enough to include physical healing, and when Jesus broke bread and said this is My body which is broken for you, He was inviting us to remember what He bore for our whole need. At the same time Scripture keeps us from presuming that God wills instant healing in every case. Paul prayed three times about his thorn in the flesh, that messenger of Satan that buffeted him, and the Lord did not remove it. We do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others are not.

The Bible also teaches that not all have the gifts of healings, just as the body has many members with different functions. We do believe strongly that God heals today, and that He has not changed. His hand is not short that He cannot save and His ear is not heavy that He cannot hear. But healing takes different forms. Sometimes it is immediate, sometimes it is gradual as with the one man Jesus healed in stages, the only gradual healing recorded in His ministry, and sometimes it comes through the ordinary processes God has built into our bodies. Those natural processes are still divine, because God created nature and the healing that happens through it. He can heal the body, and He can also heal the emotions and the mind where wounds and scars remain.

We know you have real physical needs. We all need oxygen and water and food to keep the body alive, and when those needs are strained you feel weak and faint. Scripture speaks honestly about the weakness of the flesh even when the spirit is willing. You are not condemned for feeling weak. The law could not make us righteous because of that weakness, but God sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to do what the law could not do.

There is a beautiful wish written to Gaius, that he would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospers. That is not a blanket promise that everyone will be well if they do enough, but it does show a real connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. A merry heart does good like a medicine, and science has confirmed that inner peace and joy affect the body, while anxiety and distress can harm it. So we pray for both your body and your soul, that God would give you peace in Christ, lift heaviness, and help your heart to rest in Him.

We pray now that the Lord would strengthen you, ease the inflammation, steady you when you feel faint, and give you and those caring for you wisdom about what you can eat and how to nourish your body. We ask Him to guide any treatment you receive and to use it for your good, and to show His mercy whether by a touch that is immediate or by a gradual and steady restoration. Above all we ask that you would know His presence and His love through Jesus, and that you would be upheld by His grace day by day. We will continue to bring you before the Lord and trust His wise and loving will for you.
