We hear your cry and we lift you up together before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name, for you are feeling weak and faint and struggling with inflammation that limits what you can eat.
We know how discouraging it is when the body is depleted and even eating becomes difficult, and we want you to know that God sees your weakness and draws near with compassion. We pray that He will touch your body and restore your strength.
We remember the promise in Isaiah 40:29 He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. And in Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases. We cling also to Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.
Together we pray for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace. You know the faintness and the weakness and the inflammation that is causing such distress. We ask that You lay Your healing hand upon this body, calm the inflammation, strengthen what is weak, and bring nourishment and energy where there is depletion. Grant wisdom to doctors and to those giving nutritional counsel, that the right foods and care would be found to sustain health without causing further harm. Give peace to the heart and mind in this time of physical trial, and let Your presence be felt as comfort and assurance. We ask for restored strength day by day and for renewed hope, for You are Yahweh who heals us as it is written in Exodus 15:26 I am Yahweh who heals you. We pray this in the name of Jesus, our Healer and our Hope, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care and to steward the body God has given you, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit as taught in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Keep well hydrated, rest as you are able, and do not hesitate to let trusted medical professionals guide you regarding the inflammation and the dietary restrictions with carbs, while we continue to seek the Lord for healing. Cast your anxiety upon Him, for He cares for you, and remember Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And James 5:15 reminds us the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we gently want to share why we pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name both for salvation and for daily help, for He is near to all who call upon Him in truth.
We will continue to keep you in prayer for strength, for healing of the inflammation, and for the Lord to sustain you and lift up your faint spirit. May the Lord bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you and give you peace.
