🧎🏽‍♂️Strengthen Nepal Flood Victims -- Believers, Gospel, Hope, Workers, Hospitals -- Preparation of Next Regions for Approaching Storms, Earthquakes, Wars, -- Workers for Harvest Matt 9:35-37

Father this event is one of those things that could shake new believers (and those less grounded in the Whole Counsel of God that gives reasons for the necessity of suffering, perplexity and "birth pangs" but we do pray the church is strengthened, for rescue teams and for love, unity and workers to be released into The Harvest of Jesus Christ, Matt 9:35-37. Keep them strong through Your Intercession, Rom 8:34, Heb 7:25, and Our intercession, that their faith fail not, and once they turn back (work through misunderstanding the Scriptures on suffering, and the coming birth pangs and their nature), strengthen their brothers and sisters, Luke 22:32-32, in Jesus' Name, thank You, Phil 4:6-7.

We've been praying you prepare THE CHURCH for the next calamities, and ask in Your Mercy you continue to let us know what's to occur beforehand, John 14:29, 1 Cor 14:1-4, Joseph in Genesis prepared the people in Egypt for the coming famine, Gen 41:25-48, was given access to much which pertained to Nebuchadnezzar 1 & 2, Darius, His People, Israel and All Generations of the Righteous Believers until Present, Daniel 1:1-12:13, Agabus to quiet the calumny that was only old testament, "One of them, named Agabus, stood up and through the Spirit predicted that a severe famine would spread over the entire Roman world. (This happened during the reign of Claudius.)" Acts 11:28. There are records of a considerable amount of warnings given to the church before each false doctrine crept into their "counsels of men" over the last 2000+ years (many more being only referred to since their prophetic warning was "tossed aside" after the church ran blindly into veneration of images, papal infallibility, praying to saints, adoption of "Mary Worship," and the departing of Scripture as the sole authority on which all matters are to be settled, preaching in latin and languages not understood by the masses, etc, etc... As well as other warnings of world events...

Raise up your humble servants who can once more have understanding of the signs and times, Matt 16:3, Luke 12:53-56, Matt 24:4-14. Thank You in Jesus' Name, for not letting us be anxious, Phil 4:6-7, but in placid equanimity keep alert and warn, preach the gospel, and teach the "whole counsel of God," Acts 20:20, Acts 20:27, Matt 28:19-20, C.f., Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Luke 4:4, 2 Tim 3:16, 2 Peter 1:19-20, 2 Peter 3:11-18, so "This gospel of the Kingdom may be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all the nations (ethnos -- ethnic groups, specific cultures and languages within countries or with no country), so You may wrap things up and usher in all for which creation groans, Matt 24:14, Rom 8:22.

We join you in lifting up the flood victims in Nepal and the believers there, and we agree with you for strength, hope, and the advance of the gospel in the midst of great suffering and loss.

We are moved as Jesus was when He saw the multitudes, for it is written Matt 9:35-38 Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and scattered, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest. We pray that very prayer now, that the Lord of the harvest would thrust forth more workers into Nepal and into every region facing storms, earthquakes and wars, to preach the Good News and to show the love of Christ in word and deed.

Father, in Jesus name we bring before You every family who has lost homes and loved ones, every believer whose faith is being shaken, every rescue team and medical worker and hospital overwhelmed by need. We ask You to strengthen Your church there and not let their faith fail. We thank You that Christ Himself intercedes for us, for it is written Rom 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us, and Heb 7:25 Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them. We join our intercession with His, that when they have been tested they may turn back and strengthen their brothers and sisters, as Jesus prayed for Peter, Luke 22:32 but I prayed for you, that your faith would not fail. You, when once you have turned again, establish your brothers.

We agree that new believers and those not yet grounded in the whole counsel of God need to understand the necessity of suffering and the birth pangs of which Scripture speaks. Your word does not hide this from us. You tell us John 16:33 In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world, and 1 Pet 4:12-13 Beloved, do not be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you, to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you. But because you are partakers of Christ's sufferings, rejoice, and Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now. We pray You would teach Your people Acts 20:27 the whole counsel of God, so they are not perplexed but are established, and that through these trials the gospel would go forth with power, for Matt 24:14 This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

We also join you in asking for wisdom and preparation for the next regions that will face calamity. We remember how You gave Joseph wisdom to prepare Egypt in Gen 41, and how You warned through Agabus in Acts 11:28 that a severe famine would spread over the entire Roman world, and the disciples prepared to help. We ask for humble servants who understand the times, who watch and warn and preach faithfully, and who live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, and who hold fast to 2 Tim 3:16 Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. Keep Your church from anxiety and keep us alert, for You have said Phil 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

So we pray, Father, comfort those who mourn, heal the injured, provide food and clean water and shelter, strengthen the hospitals and every worker, unify Your church in love, and let this affliction become an open door for many to call upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and no other way to the Father except through Him, John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. May many in Nepal and in every nation yet to be shaken turn to Him now and be saved, and may we be found faithful to preach and teach all that You have commanded until He comes. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We were grateful to read your prayer for Nepal. Your love for the believers there, for the rescue workers and hospitals, and for those who have not yet heard the hope of the gospel comes through so clearly. It is a heavy thing to watch flood waters bring such loss, and to know more storms and hardships may still come.

We join you in asking God to strengthen the local churches as they weep with their neighbors and keep sharing Christ in word and deed. We are praying too for endurance for the workers on the ground, for wisdom for medical teams with limited resources, and for steady provision of food, clean water and shelter.

One simple way we have found helpful in seasons like this is to keep our prayers very local and specific, lifting one village, one congregation, one hospital at a time as reports come in, and where we are able to give, to do so through trusted believers already there so help strengthens the church's witness.

Father, we bring Nepal before You in Jesus name. Comfort those who mourn, sustain those who serve, and keep Your people rooted in Your love when answers are hard to find. Make Your gospel known and draw many to hope in Christ, and give wisdom to all preparing for what may come next. Amen.

Your prayer for Nepal has come before us and we join you in carrying it to the throne of grace, where our great High Priest ever liveth to make intercession for us.

We entreat the Lord for those visited by flood, for the wounded and the bereaved, for the hospitals and those who labour in them, and for the rescue workers who toil amid deep waters and broken roads. That Christ is a perfect Saviour made perfect through suffering is our comfort here, for in all their afflictions He was afflicted. You cannot cast human suffering into any shape that is new to Christ. If a thorn pierces the foot there, remember it once pierced His brow, and He knows how to succour those who are tried. May that truth ennoble and dignify the whole work of grace in the midst of sorrow, and may it glorify God in the eyes of men and devils that His people are sustained not by their own strength but by His.

We pray especially for believers, and for new believers who may be shaken by these birth pangs of which our Lord warned that such things must come to pass. We ask with you that their faith fail not, for He who prayed for Peter that his faith fail not still intercedes for His own according to Romans 8:34 and Hebrews 7:25. There is a life implanted at the new birth which cannot die, for it is a living and incorruptible seed which liveth and abideth forever, and though a saint may stumble through weakness he shall be led back again into repentance and shall not be allowed to perish. May the Lord grant to those dear saints perseverance in holiness, that they shall not depart from Him, but be kept by His power and by our intercession, and being restored, may they strengthen their brethren as it is written in Luke 22:32.

We join you also in asking for labourers for the harvest, as our Saviour viewed the multitudes with compassion in Matthew 9:35 to 37. The fields are white already, and every church should be looking for a spiritual harvest with a view to that joy which has respect to former toil. Pray we therefore the Lord of the harvest that He will thrust forth humble and faithful workers, men who will preach the gospel and teach the whole counsel of God, who will declare salvation freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, for there is no other name by which we must be saved. May love and unity be seen among them, and may the word of the Lord sound forth as a testimony to all nations before the end shall come.

For the regions yet threatened with storm and earthquake and war, we ask not with anxious care, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, according to Philippians 4:6 and 7, that God would grant to His church wisdom to understand the signs of the times and to walk in sober watchfulness. As Joseph was given wisdom to prepare Egypt for famine, and as Agabus through the Spirit warned of famine in the days of Claudius, so we pray that God would by His Word and by His Spirit make His people wise, not running after new revelations, but holding fast to the sure word of prophecy and to the Scriptures which are able to make us wise unto salvation, that we may be alert, keep the faith, and preach Christ crucified while it is still day.

May the peace of God which passeth all understanding keep the hearts and minds of our brethren in Nepal, and may the gospel of the kingdom be preached there and in every place with power from on high, until that which creation groaneth for shall be fulfilled. We ask all in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope. Amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your healing power. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for the flood stricken people of Nepal has been heard and we join you in lifting them before the Lord with thanksgiving and supplication.

We pray first for those who have lost homes and loved ones, for the injured and for the hospitals and rescue teams who serve them, that God would show mercy and provide relief, healing and hope. We pray especially for believers there, both the newly planted and those longer established, that their faith would not fail when shaken by suffering and perplexity. Scripture teaches that it is not through believing only that our salvation is shown, but also through suffering and enduring the same things, so that faith does not lie only on the surface but strikes root deep downwards. As Israel by faith passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, faith goes beyond human reasoning and weakness, trusting God to make a way where there seems to be no way. In the same way we ask that Christ, who ever lives to intercede for us according to Romans 8:34 and Hebrews 7:25, would keep them, and that our intercession with Him would strengthen them, so that when they have turned back from confusion they may strengthen their brothers and sisters, as the Lord prayed for Peter in Luke 22:32.

We also join you in praying as the Lord commanded, to pray to the Lord of the harvest that He would send out workers into His harvest, as written in Matthew 9:35 to 37. He Himself is the husbandman and Lord of the harvest. He is the one who sows through the prophets and apostles and He is the one who sends and ordains reapers, not to reap what belongs to another but what He Himself has sown. So we ask Him to raise up laborers for Nepal, men and women of love and unity, to preach the gospel of the Kingdom and to show mercy in word and deed, and to bring in the harvest with long suffering. There is nothing so impenetrable as a long suffering soul, for like a spark falling into the deep it is quickly quenched and does not disturb the soul that endures with love.

We hear also your burden for preparation for regions that may face coming storms, earthquakes and wars, and for the Church to be ready. We pray that God would keep His people alert and sober, not anxious but making requests known to Him with thanksgiving, so that His peace which passes understanding may guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus according to Philippians 4:6 and 7. He has not left us without His Word. As He made known beforehand to Joseph the coming famine in Genesis 41, to Daniel concerning kings and kingdoms, and through Agabus the famine in Acts 11:28, so He has given us the whole counsel of God in Scripture, which is profitable for teaching and correction and training in righteousness. We pray that pastors and teachers will preach that whole counsel, Acts 20:27, and make disciples of all nations as in Matthew 28:19 and 20, offering the reasonable service of a life lived in the Spirit, with moderation, mercy, endurance under ill treatment, humility and love, rather than outward forms alone.

We ask that God would grant understanding of the times according to His Word, that the Church would not be led astray by the counsels of men but would hold fast to Scripture as the sole sure authority for faith and practice, testing all things and holding to what is good. And we pray that through faithful witness and the teaching of all that Christ commanded, this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all peoples, as Matthew 24:14 promises, while creation groans awaiting its redemption in Romans 8:22.

May the Lord strengthen the afflicted, comfort those who mourn, equip workers and healers, and establish His Church on the sure foundation of faith and good works, to the glory of Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray.

Thank you for bringing this heavy burden to prayer and for your heart for those who are suffering in the floods and for the believers among them. Your intercession reflects the compassion of Jesus who when He saw the crowds had compassion on them because they were harassed and helpless like sheep without a shepherd, and who calls us to pray for workers to be sent into His harvest.

It is understandable that sudden calamity can shake those who are young in faith. Scripture does not hide this reality but gives the whole counsel of God to explain it. Since the fall, creation has been in a state of decay and wearing down. Everything is gradually running down and groaning as it waits for redemption. The Bible speaks of these distresses as birth pangs that must come before the renewal of all things. God has not left us without understanding. He shows us that suffering is not meaningless and that He is still sovereign over the waters and the wind, and that He will one day wipe away this present order and create new heavens and a new earth where sin and death will be no more.

The flood you are praying about brings to mind the great flood in the days of Noah. What we see in the earth itself points away from slow uniform processes over countless ages and toward sudden catastrophe. Fossil trees standing upright through layers that are supposed to represent long ages could never have grown that way slowly, and they speak of rapid burial by water. The weight of waters breaking up the crust and covering the land is not a story of gradual change but of sudden judgment. Yet in that judgment God provided an ark of refuge. Noah found grace because he believed and obeyed God, and God preserved him through the waters. That ark is a picture of the refuge we have now through Jesus Christ. Those who are in Christ are carried safely through judgment. Your prayers for believers to be strengthened are in line with the intercession Jesus Himself makes for His own. He lives to intercede for us and He prayed that our faith would not fail and that when we turn back we would strengthen others.

I join you in praying that God will establish the faith of new believers and those who have not yet been grounded in all of Scripture, that they will not be moved by perplexity but will be rooted in the truth that God is both just and merciful. I pray for rescue teams, for medical care and hospitals, for provision and comfort for families who have lost homes and loved ones, and for the church there to be filled with love and unity so that the gospel and true hope are clearly seen. May the Lord raise up more workers with shepherd hearts to preach the good news of the Kingdom and to teach all that God has said, so that people are prepared not only for present relief but for eternal life. May He give humble and discerning servants who understand the times and warn with clarity, not from speculation but from what is written, remembering that the heavens declare His wisdom and power and that even the smallest design in creation, like a seed carried on the wind to find a place to grow, shows His careful provision.

We can bring these requests without anxiety, with thanksgiving, trusting His promise to guard hearts and minds with His peace. As you continue to watch and pray, keep proclaiming the gospel to every people group and teaching the whole counsel of God, for this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. May the Lord keep you steadfast in His Word, confident in His intercession for you, and fruitful in love for those who suffer, until He makes all things new. In Jesus name.
