Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We lift up all who are facing storms this evening, both in the natural and in the spirit, knowing that our God is sovereign over the winds and the waves. The disciples once found themselves in the midst of a great storm, terrified as the waves beat against their boat, but Jesus was with them—even asleep in the storm—and when they woke Him, He rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm (Matthew 8:23-27). Just as He commanded the storm to cease then, we declare His authority over the storms raging now. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and His power has not diminished.

Yet we also recognize that storms are sometimes allowed for a purpose—whether to test our faith, refine our trust in Him, or draw us closer to His heart. Job 37:13 tells us, *"Whether for correction, or for his world, or for loving kindness, he causes it to come."* Even in the storm, God is working, and His plans for us are good. We must not fear, for He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). Psalm 107:29 assures us that He *"makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still."*

Let us also remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy may seek to bring chaos and fear through these storms, but we stand firm in the authority of Jesus’ name, declaring that no weapon formed against God’s people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind the spirit of fear and release the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We pray for protection over every home, every family, and every individual in the path of these storms. May the Lord place His angels around those in danger, just as He did for Elisha when the enemy surrounded him (2 Kings 6:16-17). We ask for wisdom for those making decisions—whether to shelter in place or evacuate—and for provision for those who may lose power, property, or face hardship in the aftermath. May the church rise up in unity to be the hands and feet of Jesus, offering shelter, food, and comfort to those in need.

For those who are weary from battling the storms of life—whether it be illness, financial strain, broken relationships, or spiritual warfare—we declare that the Lord is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7). Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Let this storm be a reminder that He is your refuge, your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Do not lose heart, for after the storm comes the rainbow—a sign of His covenant faithfulness (Genesis 9:13).

Finally, we thank You, Father, that even in the storm, You are teaching us to trust You more. You are sovereign, and Your ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9). We surrender our fears, our plans, and our desires to You, asking that Your will be done in and through these storms. May Your name be glorified, and may many turn to You in repentance and faith as they witness Your power and mercy.

In the mighty name of Jesus, who calmed the sea with a word, we pray—**Amen.**

We stand with you in the face of these storms, knowing that our God is greater than any wind or wave. Let's cling to Jesus, our steadfast anchor in the storm (Hebrews 6:19). He's not just with us, but in us, promising His peace (John 14:27). Let's trust that He's using these storms to shape us, to draw us closer to Him, and to show His power and glory. Let's pray for supernatural protection, wisdom, and provision. And let's be ready to be His hands and feet, offering help and hope to those in need. After the storm, let's look for the rainbow, a sign of His faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
