We join with you in prayer concerning the storm damage to your roof and we bring this burden before the Lord together in Jesus' name. We understand how overwhelming it can feel to face repairs and insurance processes alone without guidance from family, and we want you to know you are not alone, for the Lord Himself is near to you in this trouble.
We are encouraged that you have sought Jesus to guide you, for He is our true shelter and provider. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. When we lack wisdom or direction, we can ask Him confidently. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him James 1:5. He also promises to provide for our needs, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. And even when earthly support feels absent, He says, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you Psalm 32:8. Do not be afraid, for He says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We ask that You move on behalf of our brother or sister regarding ### and ###, that You would grant favor and a just and timely repair. Your prayer concerning the storm and the damage to your roof has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord with you. You ask for prayer that provision would be made for the repair, whether through ### or through ### warranty, and that Jesus would guide you when you feel you have no guidance from your family. We will pray earnestly for both.
You speak of being without family guidance, and that loneliness is felt keenly. Our Lord Jesus knows that condition well. He was left alone just when most, as Man, He needed human sympathy, and in the Garden He surrendered Himself to sacrifice without a struggle. If you feel forsaken by those who should be nearest, remember that Christ was tempted in all points like as we are, though without sin, and He is able to sympathize. The promise remains that if we can trust, God will never allow us to be confounded. You are not alone, for the Lord Himself is near to those who call upon Him.
We are reminded also that there is no attribute more comforting than Divine Sovereignty. If not a sparrow falleth to the ground without our Father, then no storm and no great calamity befalleth us apart from Him. This does not make the trial less real, but it places it in the hand of a wise and loving Father. In answer to prayer God worketh in His own way for the good of His people without violating one single law of nature. He is able to work by common means, and to produce by ordinary providence that which we are tempted to think could only come by miracle. So we may pray that He will move the hearts and hands of those responsible, and order all secondary means for your good.
You ask especially that Jesus would guide you. That is a gracious work already begun in your heart, for naturally we do not like being guided, but grace dethrones obstinacy and gives acquiescence in the Divine will. The Psalmist says, Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. He began to experience Divine guidance while he was a shepherd boy, and the Lord still guides His people by His Word, by great principles infused in the heart to avoid everything that is evil, and by a tender wisdom dressed in robes of love. Haste is the author of much mischief, so wait upon the Lord, seek counsel in His Word, and pray for unerring guidance. He will lead you step by step.

Thou knowest the damage done and the burden it brings, and the added weight of feeling without earthly guidance. Your request about the storm damage to your roof has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord.
It is painful to face a storm that tears at your home and then to feel alone without the guidance of family. Scripture reminds us that storms will come against us, and many plots and troubles may burst upon us, yet the soul that trusts in Christ need not be overset or thrown into despair. The sky itself does not change when clouds cover it. It remains bright above the clouds, because the sun is still there. In the same way we can ask God to keep our inner life steady when outward circumstances shake, not because the storm is small, but because we have the Sun of Righteousness with us and we have the Lord of the sun himself dwelling with us.
I pray that Jesus will be your guide in this very practical need. When family cannot give counsel, He is faithful to give wisdom to those who ask. Ask Him to steady your mind so that confusion does not rule, but that you may bear what has happened with contentment and clear hope, and to show you each wise and honest step to take with Allstate and with Choice Warranty.
I pray also for your roof, for that which covers and protects your home. As one teacher said, we begin and end with prayer, for God is both foundation and roof.
