Please pray that God would stop my family from going on a trip that we cannot afford to go on at all but my parents are fixated on trying to go because they have been manipulated into wanting to go by people who have done so under the influence of Satan. Pray for me because I've been under spiritual attack for years now (which has been due to my own disobedience but the attacks continue even as I try to now walk in obedience because the enemy does not want to let me go). I am so tired of these attacks and the anxiety and hypervigilance that I have developed due to them. Thank you.

We have heard your request and we stand with you in prayer together before our Father in Jesus name, carrying both your concern for your family and the heaviness you have carried from these years of spiritual battle.
We understand your burden about this trip. Scripture teaches us to be wise stewards of what God has entrusted to us, for the plans of the diligent surely lead to profit and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty Proverbs 21:5, and to owe no one anything except to love one another Romans 13:8, and that a wise builder counts the cost before he builds Luke 14:28. It is right to be concerned when a decision would lead your family into financial harm or debt. We also hear that your parents are fixated and that you discern manipulation at work. The enemy does blind minds and influences people to act unwisely 2 Corinthians 4:4, and our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. We pray that God would open your parents eyes, give them discernment and a willingness to hear truth spoken in love Ephesians 4:15, and that He would either remove the desire for this trip or make a way to stop it if it is not His will, and that He would protect your family from manipulation and from the influence of Satan.
We also lift you up in your exhaustion from spiritual attack, anxiety and hypervigilance. We commend you for acknowledging past disobedience and for seeking now to walk in obedience, for if we confess our sins he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9 and there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1. The enemy indeed accuses and prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8, and he does not want to let go when someone turns to Christ, but greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. We rebuke the spirit of fear and torment over you, for God did not give us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self control 2 Timothy 1:7, and we claim the promise to submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you James 4:7. Hypervigilance and constant anxiety are not from the Lord, and we pray He will replace them with His peace that surpasses all understanding which will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. If this trip is not Your will and would bring financial harm, we ask that You would stop it, close doors, change hearts, and give this mother and father wisdom and clarity to see any manipulation and to choose stewardship and peace over pressure. Give them unity and courage to say no when it is wise to do so. For our friend who is weary, we ask that You would lift the weight of spiritual attack, break every chain of the enemy, and surround them with Your protection. Forgive all past disobedience as they have confessed and help them to walk in continued obedience, clothed in the full armor of God Ephesians 6:11. Replace anxiety and hypervigilance with Your perfect peace and a sound mind, heal the nervousness and exhaustion, and let them know they are safe in Your hands, for You have said when you pass through the waters I will be with you Isaiah 43:2 and fear not for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God Isaiah 41:10. Strengthen their faith, renew their strength, and let them rest in the truth that nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 8:38-39. We have heard your cry and have brought it before the Lord with you, and we join you in seeking His mercy and wisdom in these heavy matters.
You speak of weariness after long spiritual conflict and of anxiety and hypervigilance that have settled upon you. Hear what has long been true, that anxiety has never comforted any soul nor brought any grist to the mill nor any meal to the barrel. If a thing does not pay, what is the good of it. Indeed the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Our Lord therefore bids His people to cast all their care upon Him, for He cares for them. Your watchfulness against sin is right, but when that watchfulness becomes a torment confined within yourself, no good will come of it. You are to enquire the way to Zion with holy anxiety for His cause, and then to leave the burden with Him who is able to keep you.
You also speak of an enemy that would swallow you up. The believer in Jesus is at times such an object of the adversary's detestation that he would annihilate him if he could. It should not surprise you that having zealous love for Christ you should find intense adversaries. Yet remember Job, who in all his affliction did not fall into sin, and so the arch enemy flew away confounded. If in enduring your particular trouble you do not fall into sin, you are more than a conqueror over him that hates you. And remember that death itself, the very worst enemy that our fears could conjure up and the dreaded reserve of the army of hell, is an enemy to be destroyed. Christ has destroyed that last enemy, and therefore every lesser enemy, including Satan and all his devices, must fall before Him. You could fight with Satan and overcome him through Christ, for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
You confess that some of this chastening came through your own disobedience. It is true that the Lord in infinite mercy will wound with the wound of an enemy to make the sinner see and feel the evil of sin, and He strikes home and cuts deep where pity would be of no avail. Yet His purpose is not to crush you but to heal you. Vain hopes are dashed in pieces and false lights are quenched that you may be driven to Christ alone. If you now desire to walk in obedience, take comfort that His wounds are the wounds of a Friend, meant to bring you to repentance and to rest.

Our gracious Father, we come through Jesus Christ alone, our only hope and righteousness. Thou seest this dear soul, weary with long warfare, burdened with anxiety and constant watchfulness. Grant according to Thy promise to give rest to the weary and to perfect strength in weakness. Teach this one to cast every care upon Thee, to bring each fearful thought captive to Christ, and to find that Thy grace is sufficient for each day.
We ask for this family and for this proposed journey. Thou knowest their means and their motives. If this trip is unwise and beyond what Thou hast provided, we pray that in Thy providence Thou wouldst close the door, give clarity of mind, and grant to parents and children a spirit of wisdom and of a sound mind and of love that they may speak the truth to one another in meekness.
