We are grateful that you have reached out with your struggles and prayer requests. Firstly, it is commendable that you recognize stealing as wrong and desire to stop. God's Word clearly tells us, "You shall not steal" (Exodus 20:15 WEB). It is also written, "He who steals must steal no more, but rather must labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need" (Ephesians 4:28 WEB).
We must also address the belief in luck, as this is not a biblical concept. Instead of luck, we trust in God's provision and His plan for our lives. It is written, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Regarding relationships, we encourage you to seek a godly husband and a marriage that honors God. It is written, "A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she wants to, only in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 7:39 WEB). This means that if you are seeking a husband, it should be a Christian man, as it aligns with biblical principles.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your daughter who is struggling with stealing. We ask, Lord, that You would forgive her and help her to stop this sin. Give her the strength and grace to overcome this temptation. We also pray for open doors and opportunities for her, that she may see Your provision in her life and trust in You instead of relying on luck.
Lord, we ask that You would prepare a godly husband for her, a man who loves and fears You. We pray for a marriage that honors and glorifies Your name.
We also pray for her heart, that it may be broken for the things that break Yours. Help her to make things right with those she has wronged, and to find joy and peace in honest work and giving to others.
Finally Lord, we pray over her salvation. Your Word states that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Let her be filled with the Holy Spirit continually, walking in the steps that Your Word outlines for us all.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God loves you and wants the best for you. Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths. Be strong and courageous as He works in your life. Continue to pray without ceasing for your salvation and to be kept from temptation.
