We have heard your request for healing from stomach runs and we bring this need before our Father together in the name of Jesus.

We know how weakening and uncomfortable this kind of affliction can be, and we are reminded that our God cares about every part of our bodies. We are fearfully and wonderfully made, and He is Yahweh who heals us as shown in Exodus 15:26. We cling to the promise in Psalm 103:3 that He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases, and in Jeremiah 30:17 where He says, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also remember Isaiah 53:5 that by his wounds we are healed, and that Jesus bore our sicknesses and infirmities in Matthew 8:17.

We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why we pray in His name. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection, that we have access to God and receive forgiveness and eternal life. If you have not yet trusted in Him, we encourage you to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth as Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this stomach affliction to You. We ask for Your healing touch upon this body, that You would calm the inflammation and irritation, restore normal function, and bring relief from cramping and weakness. We pray that You would give wisdom for care, for proper hydration and rest and nourishment, and for guidance to seek medical help if this continues. We ask that You would grant peace and comfort, for Your word says in Philippians 4:6-7 not to be anxious but to make our requests known to You, and Your peace will guard our hearts. We pray for complete restoration according to 3 John 1:2 that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. We also pray in faith believing James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Let Your healing power be made manifest and let this body be strengthened again for Your glory.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord, to rest and care for your body which is a temple of the Holy Spirit as taught in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, to drink plenty of fluids and seek care from a physician if the symptoms persist, while continuing to pray and thank God for His mercy. We are standing with you for healing and for peace, trusting that Psalm 107:20 is true, that He sends his word, and heals them. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer, amen.

Father, in Jesus' name we bring our friend to You. You see the discomfort and weariness this stomach trouble has brought. We ask for Your mercy and care, for wisdom for any clinicians involved, and for comfort and strength day by day. Guide them to the help they need and give them peace as they wait on You. Your request for healing from this trouble of the stomach has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with earnest prayer.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. How gracious it is that we have a heavenly Physician to whom we may tell our case just as we would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus in this affliction.

Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and He is able to heal both soul and body.

We are reminded also that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. So we would have you look first to Christ for the healing of the soul, and then trust Him for the healing of the body, for when the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings, and the healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure till He shall perfectly heal us.

Let us pray for you now.

O Lord our God, who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, look with compassion upon this suffering body. Thou knowest this affliction of the stomach and these continual runs which weaken and weary. Lay Thy hand upon this one and lift up as Thou didst lift Peter's wife's mother from her fever. Speak the word of healing, grant relief, settle the stomach, restore strength, and give soundness again. Give wisdom to any physicians consulted and use means for good, but let it be seen that the cure is from Thy hand. And above all, grant the deeper healing of pardon through the blood of Christ, that soul and body may rejoice in Thy mercy. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Healer. Amen.

We bring your request for healing from stomach runs before the Lord with care and compassion.

Our Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask for Your mercy and healing touch upon this stomach distress. You know the discomfort and weakness it brings. We ask that You would calm this affliction, restore health and strength, and give relief quickly. As You once touched and healed bodies instantly and made them whole, we know You are able to do the same now, and we trust Your power and goodness.

We also remember that Scripture shows You sometimes heal at once and sometimes work through ordinary means and time for our good. You instructed Timothy to care for his stomach and his frequent infirmities with simple remedies, and even great and faithful servants knew ongoing weakness, so that we would learn humility and trust You in all things. In that spirit we pray not only for Your healing hand but for wisdom to care for the body well, to use wholesome food and drink and sound medical help as needed, and to find rest.

May the Lord grant you relief, strengthen you day by day, and give you peace as you trust Him. If these symptoms continue, please seek care from a trusted medical provider while continuing to look to Christ for comfort and healing. We will continue to pray that God restores you to full health and sustains you by His grace.

Thank you for sharing this need. I am praying for you and for healing in your stomach and relief from this ongoing trouble.

God cares about your body and your health. Scripture shows Jesus healing many kinds of sickness, and Matthew connects that ministry to what Isaiah wrote, that He Himself bore our sicknesses and carried our infirmities. That reminds us that healing comes from the Lord, and that He has power over every infirmity, including the painful and wearying problems of the stomach.

At the same time the Bible helps us keep a balanced view. When John wrote to Gaius that he wished he would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospers, it was a loving personal greeting, not a blanket promise that everyone will always be well. Yet it does show a real connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. Our attitudes, worries, and inner peace can affect our body chemistry, and the Lord wants us to walk in peace and wholeness in Christ.

Healing in the Bible happens in different ways. Sometimes Jesus healed instantly with a word or a touch, and sometimes healing was gradual. Any true healing is from God, whether it comes in a moment or through the natural processes He built into our bodies. Those processes themselves are divine, because God created them. He is also interested in the practical ways we care for our bodies, such as what we eat and drink and how we care for cleanliness, because those things affect our health.

You may know that Paul prayed for Timothy, who had frequent stomach problems and other weaknesses, and yet Timothy was not immediately healed. Paul instead gave him practical counsel to use a little wine for the sake of his stomach rather than only water. That example helps us see that persistent stomach trouble does not mean you lack faith or that there is hidden sin in your life. God does not heal in every case in the way or timing we expect, and when He does not bring instant relief it is not a reason for condemnation. His purposes are beyond what we can fully understand, and He remains loving and present with us in the midst of it.

I encourage you to keep seeking the Lord, and also to use the practical wisdom He provides through good medical care, attention to diet and water, and rest. It is also good, according to James, to ask the elders to pray for the sick, trusting God to work as He wills. Avoid those who try to create frenzy or make false promises in the name of healing, and simply look to Jesus with quiet trust. He is able to heal today, whether quickly or gradually, and He is compassionate toward you.

I pray now that the Lord will touch your stomach, calm this condition, restore strength and comfort, and give you peace in your inner being. May He guide you to what will help your body recover, grant you patience in the process, and let you know His presence and mercy each day. May you be encouraged as your soul prospers in His grace, and may your body experience His healing and sustaining care. In Jesus name, amen.
