Heal my whole stomach

Your prayer for healing in your stomach has been heard, and I join you in bringing it before the Lord with compassion and hope.
God made both soul and body, and He cares for both. As a physician draws near to the sick to bring healing, so Christ draws near to us in our weakness. He is able to heal what we understand and what we do not understand, and His mercy reaches to those things hidden from our own eyes. When we do not know what is happening within us, He knows fully, and nothing in your belly is hidden from Him.
Let us pray together. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I lift up this one who is suffering with pain and uncertainty in the stomach. You see what is unknown and You have power to restore. Touch the body, calm what is troubled, remove what causes distress, and bring healing and freedom according to Your will. Grant peace to the heart while waiting, strengthen faith, and let Your healing work for Your glory. Grant also wisdom to any doctors who may help, and guide every step toward health. Forgive sins and draw this heart closer to You through Jesus, in whose name we have confidence to come to You. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, and do not hesitate to seek care from trusted medical help, for God often works through those means as well. Keep trusting Him patiently, for He hears those who call on Him through Christ, and He is faithful. I will continue to pray for your complete healing and peace.

I have prayed for you and for the pain and uncertainty you feel in your stomach. God cares about your physical needs and He hears you when you call on the name of Jesus.
Scripture shows us that Jesus used His miraculous power not for Himself but for the needs of others. He healed the leper, the servant of the centurion, Peter's mother in law, and in the evening many who were sick and oppressed. Matthew connects this to the prophecy in Isaiah chapter 53 verse 4, that He Himself bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. That tells us healing is part of what Christ has taken upon Himself, and He has authority over the physical realm.
At the same time there is much about healing that we do not fully understand. We do not know why some people experience immediate healing and others do not. The Bible records one healing in the ministry of Jesus that was gradual, which reminds us that healing is not always instant. I believe strongly that God still heals today, and that there are many kinds of healing. Sometimes it comes in a moment, sometimes it comes gradually through the natural processes God has placed within our bodies. Those natural processes are still divine, because God created them.
We also see in Scripture that God does not will physical healing in every case in this life, and that is not because of a lack of faith or a failure in the person. Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh and the Lord did not remove it, but gave grace for His purpose. Paul also prayed for Timothy, who had frequent stomach problems and other weaknesses, and yet Paul encouraged him to use a practical remedy for his stomach. God has purposes we cannot fully understand, and His grace is still sufficient when healing comes in a different way or in His timing.
I do not believe healing is about hype or spectacle. Jesus often healed quietly and even told people not to make a show of it. True healing comes from the Lord Himself, whether He touches the body directly or works through the healing processes He designed and through the care of physicians.
So I encourage you to keep bringing your stomach before the Lord honestly, asking for His touch and His peace, and also to seek wise medical care as the Lord leads. Trust His love for you and His power to heal, whether gradually or immediately, and trust His wisdom and goodness even as you wait.

You know this body fully, every part of the stomach and all that is within. I ask that You would bring healing, calm the pain, restore what is wrong, and give freedom and peace. Guide any doctors or help that is needed, and let Your healing work be done in whatever way You choose. Fill this heart with assurance that You are near, that You bear our infirmities, and that You are working for good. Bring comfort to the mind and emotions as well as to the body. In Jesus name, Amen.
