Stomach trimming

Beloved of All
Midriff area needs trimming after losing much weight having problems trying to get rid of this midsection, my Lord can do anything and also to try to donate some clothes soon to those in need. Amen

We hear your heart and lift your concerns before the Lord, who indeed can do all things. First, we want to celebrate the weight loss you’ve achieved, this is a testimony of discipline and perseverance, and we rejoice in the strength God has given you. The desire to care for your body is good, for it is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). However, we must guard our hearts against any frustration or self-criticism that does not align with the truth that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your wisdom and grace as ### seeks to honor You with their body. Lord, we know that physical transformation is often a journey, and we ask that You would strengthen their resolve, not out of vanity, but out of a desire to steward well what You have entrusted to them. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes, precious, valued, and loved unconditionally. We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or impatience and declare that Your peace will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up the desire to donate clothes to those in need. This is a beautiful act of generosity and love, reflecting the heart of Christ who gave Himself for us. Lord, we pray that You would bless this effort, providing opportunities for ### to be a blessing to others. Open doors for them to share not only material goods but also the hope found in You. Let this act of kindness be a testimony of Your love and provision (Proverbs 19:17).

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, including how you care for your body. Remember that true beauty comes from a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in God’s sight (1 Peter 3:3-4). If there are struggles with self-image or comparison, we pray that You would renew ###’s mind with Your truth and fill them with confidence in who they are in Christ.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13), and it is in His name alone that we pray. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we invite you to consider the gift of salvation He offers. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). There is no greater love, no greater hope, and no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for ###’s heart and their desire to honor You. We ask that You would continue to guide them, strengthen them, and fill them with Your peace as they walk this journey. May they experience Your presence in every step and find joy in serving You and others. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We’ve been thinking about you and celebrating the progress you’ve already made, losing a significant amount of weight takes real commitment, and that victory is worth honoring. It’s completely normal to have one area that feels stubborn, especially the midsection, and we understand how that can be discouraging even when so much has changed for the better.

One practical step we’d encourage is to check in with your doctor or a trusted fitness professional who knows your health history. They can help you sort out whether what you’re facing is simply how your body carries its remaining weight, or if there is something else that might need attention, and they can safely guide you toward exercises that strengthen your core without risking injury. Sometimes our bodies reshape slowly, and having a wise outside perspective can bring peace of mind even before the scale or tape measure moves.

The desire to donate clothes is a beautiful one. Those garments that no longer fit represent where you’ve been, and passing them on to someone in need is a tangible way to thank God for where you are right now. As you let them go, you make room, not just in your closet but in your spirit, for this next season.

We’re praying with you now: Father, thank you for the strength and perseverance this child of yours has already shown. Meet them in their frustration, and give them patience with their body as it continues to change. Grant wisdom for the next healthy steps, and bless the hands that receive the clothes they’ll donate. We ask all this in Jesus’ name.

It is a small thing for the Lord to order the frame of your body; He who fashioned it can bring it into subjection again. Yet remember, the trimming of the midriff is but for a season, whereas the adorning of the inward man is unto life eternal. Let your desire for a lighter frame be swallowed up in a mightier longing to be trimmed of sin and conformed to the image of Christ. The love of God shed abroad in the heart will fan a zeal for His glory far beyond any care for the flesh; and that love is kindled while we battle for Him, as you do even now by turning your trial into a prayer. Your intent to donate clothes is a sweet fruit of this, for where love to God dwells, it must needs show itself in love to His poor.

Take God at His word in all things. You say rightly that your Lord can do anything, and so He can give you grace to persevere in temperance and grant you the discipline of the body if it be according to His will. But trust Him supremely for that far weightier matter: the salvation of your soul through the blood of Jesus Christ. Where God begins a good work, He will complete it until the day of Christ. He that has given you the will to give to others will perfect that which concerneth you, body and soul, as you commit it all to Him. Only see to it that you do not depart from Him, for apart from Christ you can do nothing. The mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but His covenant love stands fast to those who fear Him. Lay hold of Him with both hands, and though this midsection trouble you, you shall yet glorify the God of Israel who makes the maimed whole and the lame to walk. Trust, and be at peace; He is faithful who has called you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The body’s frame is no accident, but a work of divine wisdom. God has set each member in its place, even as it pleased Him, and He knows why some parts remain stubborn despite our efforts. Yet consider: if the eye, so small and delicate, guides the whole body and reveals the heavens, how much more should the soul’s health outweigh the midriff’s measure? You say the Lord can do anything, and truly He can, but His power is most clearly seen when our outer nature wastes away and the inner nature is renewed. Why did He form man so small, so far below the angels, with a body that resists our wills? To humble our understanding and teach us not to trust in ourselves. The very trouble with your midsection may be a mercy, a school to turn you from the mirror to the mirror of the soul. This present light affliction is working for you a far greater weight of glory.

Far more praiseworthy is your resolve to donate clothes to those in need. Here you become like God, who clothes the grass of the field, and yet you seek no display. In giving your coat and cloak, you imitate Him who emptied Himself and took the form of a servant. Such mercy is a mightier miracle than any trimming of the flesh. Remember: the life of Jesus is manifested in our mortal body most when we bear about His dying, when we spend ourselves for others. So, offer this struggle with your waist as a living sacrifice, and let the alms you prepare be the true trimming of the heart. The poor who receive your garments will bless God, and your body, though it still wars against your wishes, becomes a holy vessel to manifest His strength, not your perfection.
