We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. Your suffering has been long, and we ask God to bring comfort, relief, and complete restoration to your body. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over you, trusting that God’s healing power is at work in your life.
It is also written in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We encourage you to seek prayer from your church elders or trusted believers in your life, as there is power in the united prayers of the righteous.
We also urge you to seek wise medical counsel if you haven’t already, as God often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing. Proverbs 11:14 says, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* This applies not only to nations but also to our personal well-being.
At the same time, we recognize that suffering can be a refining process, drawing us closer to God. Romans 5:3-5 tells us, *"We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us."* If this trial persists, may it deepen your faith and reliance on Him.
We notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who has been suffering from stomach and chest pain for many years. Lord, You see their pain, and You know the depth of their need. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through their body, restoring every cell, organ, and function to perfect health. Remove all pain, discomfort, and disease, and let Your peace flood their heart as they trust in You.
If there are underlying spiritual or emotional burdens contributing to this suffering, we ask that You reveal them and bring complete deliverance. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and surround them with Your presence. Give them wisdom to seek the right medical care and the perseverance to endure this trial with grace.
We declare Your promises of healing over them, knowing that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24). Let this season of pain turn into a testimony of Your goodness and power. We pray all these things in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We will continue to pray for your healing and encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). May God grant you strength, peace, and complete restoration.
