Stomach, ellbow

We hear your concern about your stomach, digestion, and your left arm and elbow. While we trust in the Lord’s healing power, we also recognize that physical discomfort can sometimes be a reminder to seek wisdom in caring for the body He has given us. Let us come before Him in prayer, asking for discernment, healing, and peace.

Father in Heaven, we lift up this dear one before You, the Great Physician. You formed their body in Your wisdom, and You know every part, every cell, every muscle, every joint. We ask that You would bring comfort to their stomach and digestion, that You would regulate their stomach acid according to Your perfect design, and that You would ease any tension or strain in their left arm and elbow. Grant them wisdom to rest when needed, to nourish their body well, and to seek godly counsel when necessary.

Lord, we also ask that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Physical discomfort can sometimes weigh on the spirit, so we pray for Your peace to fill them, knowing that You are their strength and their healer. Remind them that their body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and help them to honor You in how they care for it.

If there is any hidden stress, anxiety, or unconfessed sin that may be contributing to these discomforts, we ask that You would reveal it in Your kindness and lead them to repentance and restoration. Your Word tells us that a cheerful heart is good medicine (Proverbs 17:22), so we pray for joy and trust in You to overflow in their life.

We declare healing in Jesus’ name, for by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). May this dear one walk in the fullness of Your health and strength, giving You all the glory. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

If these symptoms persist, we encourage seeking the advice of a trusted medical professional, as the Lord often works through the wisdom and skills He has given to others. Continue to rest in His care, knowing that He is attentive to every detail of your life.

We noticed your request for normal digestion, settled stomach acid, no diarrhea, and no more pain or stretched feeling in your left arm and elbow, and we are joining you in prayer for that steadiness and ease.

It can be wearying when your stomach and muscles do not feel quite right, even when things seem mostly normal. We are thankful with you for what is already settled, and we understand wanting the rest of that discomfort to lift so you can go about your days without thinking about it.

If you notice the elbow pain or stomach upset lingering, getting worse, or coming back often, we encourage you to check in with your primary care provider alongside prayer, just to have someone who knows your history take a look and give you peace of mind. It can help to jot down when you notice the symptoms and what seems to ease them, so you have a clear picture to share if you do see them.

Father, we bring our friend to You and ask for Your gentle care over their body. Calm their stomach, settle digestion, and ease the pain in their left arm and elbow. Give them rest, comfort, and wisdom for next steps, and let them feel Your nearness and peace today. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your request for healing has been brought before the Lord and we have prayed for you, that He who is the great Physician would lay His hand upon you in mercy.

We have asked that your stomach be settled and your digestion made normal, that your stomach acid be regulated and that you be kept from diarrhea, and that the pain and stretching in the muscles of your left arm and elbow be removed, so that you may know again the comfort of a body at rest and restored.

We are reminded that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, not only to nourish but to heal, to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are one in His hand. The Lord who forgives sin also heals disease, and the healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure till His work is perfect.

Tell your case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus, for Calvary is the place for the healing balm. He is able to heal, and He links His healing with His Word, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

We pray that you would know first the healing of the soul through forgiveness in Christ, and then the healing of the body according to His wise and gracious will, and that whether He grants immediate relief or sustains you through continued weakness, you may find your heart kept in perfect peace as you trust in Him.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will grant you normal digestion, freedom from pain, and strength in your arm, and that He will use even this affliction to draw you nearer to Himself, who binds up the brokenhearted and heals all our diseases.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for relief from stomach trouble and pain in your left arm and elbow has been heard and I am praying with you for healing and restoration.

I ask the Lord to grant you normal digestion, settled and balanced stomach acid, freedom from diarrhea, and release from pain and stretching or strain in the muscles of your left arm and elbow. May He strengthen your body and bring you comfort and health according to His mercy.

Scripture reminds us that even faithful servants knew bodily infirmity. Paul told Timothy to use a little wine for his stomach and his frequent infirmities. Timothy had fasted strictly and lived with great discipline, yet he suffered often in his stomach and in other parts of his body. Paul, who had seen God work miracles through him, did not simply remove the infirmity by a miracle, but directed him to the careful use of medicine. This teaches us not to be troubled or offended when those who love God still experience sickness. God permits such visitations for our good, to keep us humble and to remind us that we are human and in need of Him, and He often heals through ordinary means as well as through prayer.

As a physician treats the sick with patience, so Christ cares for both soul and body. Sometimes He allows the body to be tried so that the soul may be healed and strengthened, and sometimes He restores the body to show His compassion. In either case we are called to bring our souls into a healthy state before Him, trusting His wisdom, keeping a pure and sober life, and receiving His word with faith.

So I pray that God will make your body strong and your stomach calm, that your digestion will work as He designed it, and that the pain in your arm and elbow will be lifted. I also pray that you will know His peace while you wait for healing, and that you will use wisely the help that physicians and proper care can give, just as Timothy was instructed to do, while above all looking to Christ who is the true healer of soul and body.

May the Lord grant you health, keep you in His care, and draw you closer to Himself through this trial. I will continue to remember you in prayer that you may be restored and strengthened to serve Him with a joyful and thankful heart.

Your prayer for your stomach and for your elbow has been lifted up before the Lord, and I am joining you in asking Him for His healing and sustaining touch.

God has wonderfully made the body. The muscles in your arm and elbow are voluntary muscles, you decide to move them, to clench your hand, to bend your arm. But other parts of your body work without your thought or effort. Your heart beats, your lungs breathe, your stomach digests food. Those are involuntary, and God in His wisdom has kept them under His own care. You do not have to remember to make your heart beat or to direct your digestion, He sustains those processes moment by moment because your life depends on them.

That is why we can trust Him with the very things you mentioned, normal digestion, balanced stomach acid, freedom from diarrhea, and relief from pain and stretching in the muscles of your left arm and elbow. He is the one who established all of the healing processes within the body. Every healing, whether it comes in a moment or slowly over time, is from Him. What nature does is still divine, because He is the one who created nature and its processes.

In the ministry of Jesus we see this variety. Sometimes He healed instantly with a word, sometimes with a touch, sometimes from a distance, and once He healed gradually. He is not confined to one pattern. There is much about healing we do not fully understand, why some are healed immediately and others over time, and why in some cases healing does not come as we expect. Even the apostle Paul prayed for Timothy, who had frequent stomach problems and was often unwell, and yet Timothy continued to struggle. Paul finally encouraged him to use practical means for his stomach. That account shows us that ongoing weakness is not necessarily a sign of lack of faith or of hidden sin. God has purposes we cannot see, and we rest in His love and wisdom even as we continue to ask for healing.

What we do know is that Jesus bore our infirmities and sicknesses, as Isaiah foretold, and that He invites us to bring our needs to Him in faith. In the Gospels many who were sick simply touched the hem of His garment, and that touch became the point where they released their faith to receive what He was ready to give. You can come to Him in that same simple faith today, believing that He is able and that He cares.

So I pray for you now, that the Lord would touch your stomach and bring it to normal function, that your digestion would be calm and regular, that acid would be balanced, that diarrhea would cease, and that the pain and strain in your left arm and elbow would be lifted. I ask Him to restore strength and comfort to those muscles, and to grant you peace as you trust Him, whether His healing comes in a moment or through the steady, gradual processes He has built into your body. May He also bring healing to your mind and heart, giving you rest and assurance that you are held in His care.

We thank Him that He is in control of every breath and every beat of your heart, and we trust your body into His hands.

Why do I yawn when I have a stomachache? It is quite strange and feels uncomfortable. Deep inhalation or stretching contracts the diaphragm and abdominal muscles, which can irritate a muscle pull, trapped gas, or acid reflux.
