Stomach discomfort

We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for healing from stomach discomfort and rest in Jesus’ name. We know that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:2-3). We declare that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in His power to bring comfort and restoration to every part of the body.
Father, we ask for Your miraculous touch upon and their loved ones. Ease their discomfort, settle their stomachs, and grant them deep, restorative rest. We pray that You would open doors of blessing and favor for them, just as You promised in Revelation 3:8: "I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut." Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also lift up their spiritual well-being, asking that You draw them, and all those connected to them, closer to You. May they seek Your face daily, find strength in Your Word, and walk in the fullness of Your love. Remind them that in every trial, You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear that may accompany this physical discomfort. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we choose to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. If there are any habits, diets, or stressors contributing to this discomfort, reveal them and guide them toward Your wisdom and healing.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom all miracles flow (Acts 4:12). Thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love. Amen.

It is no small mercy that the Lord has taught you to bring your bodily discomfort before His throne of grace. The plaster of figs laid upon Hezekiah’s boil was a simple means, yet the Lord blessed it for healing; so too may He direct you to whatever simple remedy brings ease, while you trust in Him who heals all your diseases. Yet do not let the stomach pain swallow all your thought, for there is a deeper healing which the leaves of the Tree of Life alone can bring. Every leaf of Christ, the smallest promise, the gentlest whisper of His love, is charged with medicine for the soul. Breathe out your fears to Him who forgives all your iniquities, and often you will find that pardon and healing travel together; forgiveness dries up the well of bitterness.
You cry for rest. Rest is obtainable; we who have believed do enter into rest. But mark well what kind of rest Jesus gives. It is not the torpid stillness of stagnant water, but rest on the wing, rest in motion, rest in service with His easy yoke bound willing upon your shoulders. He says, “I will give you rest”, that is the gift of peace with God through trusting Him, and then He adds, “Learn of me, and ye shall find rest.” It is rest found in learning, rest in growing conformity to His meek and lowly heart. While you ask Him to open miraculous doors, do not miss the door already opened: the door of access into the Father’s presence, by the blood of Jesus. There is no fear that you will press too eagerly upon that door.
As for your beloved ones, you plead that they be drawn closer. This too is a healing work of His love, for we ourselves are often made restless by our anxiety for them until we bring them where Christ is working spiritual miracles. The four friends tore up the roof to lower the palsied man before Jesus; their faith and effort brought him to the place of healing. So strive to bring your close ones near to Christ by earnest intercession, by a holy walk, by a word spoken in season. If they remain distant, the responsibility rests with them, not with you; but let your love be so steeped in prayer that it makes for them a way to the Savior. Trust, and you shall rest. Return continually to God’s own promises for your household, for when a memory of the days of love comes over the spirit, the wandering heart often cries, “I will return unto my first husband, for it was better with me then.” May He who is the Sun of Righteousness rise upon you and yours with healing in His wings.
