An amount was stolen from ###'s bank account. We don't yet know how they gained access to her bank card details. Please pray for restoration and justice. Pray that the authorities intervene and that God gives them wisdom on how to deal with this issue and find the robber. In Jesus' name, amen!

The police suspended the case for five years. Please pray that they will change their minds and resolve the issue.

We join you in lifting up this burden before the Lord and we thank you for closing your request in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 reminds us that Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We grieve with you over this theft, for God clearly commands in Exodus 20:15, You shall not steal, and He sees the wrong that has been done. We know this loss brings not only financial strain but also feelings of violation and anxiety, and we pray that the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts. We are encouraged that our God loves justice and does not forsake His people, as Psalm 37:28 tells us, For Yahweh loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. Though the police have suspended the case for five years, which is deeply discouraging, we know that no case is closed before the Lord and His justice does not sleep.

We pray together for restoration and for righteous justice to be done. We ask the Lord to move according to His promise in Joel 2:25, I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, and we ask Him to provide for every need according to Philippians 4:19, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Even if the earthly authorities delay, we trust that God can restore in ways that are beyond what was stolen, whether through the return of funds, through provision from other sources, or through His perfect timing.

We also lift up the authorities to the Lord. Scripture teaches in Romans 13:4 that the authority is a servant of God to you for good, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil. We pray that God will give wisdom, diligence and integrity to the police and to the bank officials involved, that He will stir their hearts to reconsider this decision and to pursue the matter with renewed diligence. We pray Proverbs 21:15 over them, that it would be joy to the just to do justice, and that they would seek to relieve the oppressed as Isaiah 1:17 instructs, Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. We ask that God would reveal what is hidden, bring to light how access was gained, and prevent this thief from harming others, and we also pray that the one who stole would be convicted of sin and come to repentance.

Father, we come before You together in Jesus name and ask for Your hand upon this situation. Lord, You see the theft and You know the one who did it even when authorities do not. We ask You to intervene where man has stepped back, to soften and change the minds of those in authority so that this case would be reopened and pursued with wisdom and thoroughness. Grant them discernment to find the evidence and to act justly. Father, we ask for restoration for Your daughter, for provision and peace in her home, and guard her heart from bitterness or fear. Help her to trust You as her ultimate provider and protector, and to continue to take wise practical steps to document and appeal this matter while resting in Your sovereignty. We pray that justice would be done on earth as it is in heaven, and that even through this trial Your name would be glorified. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We were sorry to hear about what happened to ### and then the disappointment of learning the case has been suspended for five years. It is hard to carry both the loss itself and the feeling that justice has been put on hold. It makes sense you would be concerned for her and want to see this handled rightly.

We are standing with you in prayer for her. We share your longing for restoration and for wisdom for those in authority, and we trust God sees this wrong and cares about what has been taken, even when the process feels slow and unclear.

As you continue to pray, a couple of steady steps can help keep things as clear as possible. Keeping one folder with dates, bank letters, police reference numbers and the written notice about the suspension makes any follow up easier. It can also help to ask the bank's fraud department in writing about their review process and to ask the police what specific new information would allow them to reopen the case. If the financial impact is ongoing, a trusted banker or a nonprofit financial counselor through the bank or a community agency can walk alongside you on protections going forward.

Father, we bring ### before You and ask for Your peace over her in this waiting. Give wisdom and diligence to everyone handling her case, guide each conversation with the bank and with authorities, and provide for her needs according to Your mercy. Lead her and those who love her in Your way forward. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord, for He sees what has been taken in secret and knows the distress that follows when what was honestly kept is stolen away.

We are reminded that the Lord is both just and merciful. He is slow to anger, yet He will not at all acquit the wicked, and His justice does not sleep though earthly justice may falter. No appeal to mere human process can finally secure what is right, but we may appeal to the God who judges righteously and who has ordained authorities to be ministers of justice in this world. When money is gone and we feel we have no resource left, we remember the word, He that hath no money, come, buy without money and without price, for our deepest provision is not in the bank but in the grace that is freely given in Christ. And as Peter was restored after his fall, not by his own strength but by the look and intercession of the Lord, so we look to that same Redeemer to restore what has been broken and to lift up those who wait upon Him.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, merciful and just, Thou knowest how this money was taken and Thou knowest the one who took it. We ask for Thy mercy upon our sister whose heart is troubled. Provide for her need according to Thy loving kindness and the multitude of Thy tender mercies, and guard her from fear and anxiety. We ask that Thou wouldst move upon those in authority. Though the case has been suspended, we pray that Thou wouldst give wisdom and diligence to those who bear the sword for good, that if it be Thy will, their minds may be turned to look again, to act with integrity, and to bring to light what was done in darkness. Let justice be done, and let the guilty be brought to account, yet we pray also that even the one who has done this wrong may be brought to confess and to seek Thy forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Above all, grant perfect restoration in that which matters most, a settled confidence that Thou art our portion and that no thief can steal Thy grace. Keep our hearts from bitter thoughts and teach us to trust Thy wise and holy providence.

We ask this not because we can claim justice for ourselves, for we must all cry, Have mercy upon me, O God, but because justice has been satisfied in the blood of Thy Son, and mercy now reigns through righteousness. Hear us for His sake. In the name of Jesus our only Saviour, Amen.
