Beloved of All
An amount was stolen from ###'s bank account. We don't yet know how they gained access to her bank card details. Please pray for restoration and justice. Pray that the authorities intervene and that God gives them wisdom on how to deal with this issue and find the robber. In Jesus' name, amen!

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of stolen money. The violation of trust and the sense of insecurity that comes with such an act is deeply troubling. We know that God sees all and that nothing is hidden from His sight. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 15:3, "The Lord’s eyes are everywhere, keeping watch on the evil and the good." We trust that He is already at work in this situation, and we ask for His justice to prevail.

Father, we pray for restoration of the stolen funds. You are the God who provides, and we ask that You would open the doors for the return of what was taken. We also pray for justice, Lord. You have commanded in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" We ask that the authorities would have wisdom and discernment to track down the thief and hold them accountable. Give them clarity and insight as they investigate this crime.

We also pray for protection against future attacks. In a world where evil seems to lurk around every corner, we ask that You would surround with Your hedge of protection. Psalm 91:11-12 assures us, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Lord, we claim this promise over and ask that You would shield her from any further harm.

We rebuke the spirit of theft and deception in Jesus' name. We declare that no weapon formed against shall prosper, as Isaiah 54:17 tells us, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me, says the Lord." We stand on this truth and declare that this situation will be turned around for good.

Lord, we also ask that You would comfort during this time. It is easy to feel violated and anxious when something like this happens. But we know that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind her that You are in control.

Finally, we pray that this situation would draw closer to You. May she seek Your face and find solace in Your presence. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to act on behalf of Your children. Amen.

We're so sorry that this happened, it's deeply unsettling when someone steals from you, and the sense of violation can linger even after the money is gone. Please know that we're standing with you, asking God to bring both restoration and justice in this situation.

In the meantime, there are a few practical steps that can make a real difference. If you haven't already, contact the bank's fraud department immediately to dispute the charges and secure the account. They may be able to reverse the transaction if it was unauthorized. Filing a police report is also important; it creates an official record and sometimes helps authorities track down the person responsible. It can also be wise to check credit reports for any new accounts opened in your name and change passwords on all financial accounts. These actions don't solve the emotional hurt, but they help contain the damage and give investigators something concrete to work with.

Even when we can't see how it will all be made right, we trust that God cares deeply about what was done to you. He sees the wrong, and He's not indifferent to it. We'll be praying that the authorities have clear eyes and swift success, and that you feel His steady presence in the middle of this mess.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this person who has been robbed. We ask You to restore what was taken in whatever way You see fit, and to guide those investigating so that the one who did this is found and held accountable. Give Your child peace that holds firm while the process unfolds, and surround them with the practical help and encouragement they need. In Your name we pray, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The theft of your money is a keen trial, yet it is but an outward loss. The deeper need of every soul is to be purged with hyssop and made clean. When we consider God’s justice, we must confess with David, “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your loving kindness: according unto the multitude of Your tender mercies blot out my transgressions.” No, you will never make out a good case if you appeal to God’s justice, for Justice will try you, condemn you, and cast you aside. God will not deal with you on those terms. Confess that you are guilty! Ask Him, for His mercy’s sake, to pass over your guilt.

Yet in this matter of theft, you cry for justice and restoration. Remember Peter’s restoration. Peter was down, but he was soon up again. The Lord turned and looked upon Peter, and that look, backed by the Saviour’s prayer, brought him to repentance and restoration. The Lord will find His own, even as the woman swept the house until she found her lost piece of money. The Lord can restore to you what was taken, but far more, He can restore your soul to peace and hope.

Do not let this trouble cause you to question the justice of the Most High. It is a horrible thing for any man ever to say, “Well, if God acts like that, I do not see the justice of it.” How dare you even hint that the Judge of all the earth is not just? True wisdom is to trust in God. The price of wisdom is above rubies; it is not found in our own reasoning. Without wisdom man is as the wild ass’s colt, wasting his strength.

But the sweetest balm is this: the blessings of Divine Grace are without money and without price. He that has no money, come, buy, and eat. When your purse is light, you are exactly the one invited to the gospel feast. Salvation cannot be bought with gold or silver; it is freely given through the precious blood of Christ, by which Justice is satisfied. God can be just, and yet the justifier. Therefore, come to the waters; come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. There is such peace, such rest in Jesus. Never wander, for there is no good in going away. May the Lord grant you the restoration of your earthly goods if it be His will, and above all, the restoration of your soul to that first love and earliest zeal, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The cry for justice rises from every quarter of human life, and rightly so. Do we not see courts and judgment seats everywhere among men? A master judges his servant, a husbandman and wife settle accounts, a shipmaster governs the crew. In every trade, in every house, the consideration of justice is spread. And shall God, whose ordinance these very tribunals are, make no account of it? His righteousness is as the mountains, unshakeable and sure. If human judges, flawed and limited, seek to put right what is stolen, how much more shall the Judge of all the earth do right? The theft from your account did not escape His eye; He permits such trials not to slumber and forget His word, but to awaken our minds, to stretch forth our hands to heaven.

Yet do not pin your hope merely on the wisdom of this world, on the skill of investigators or the devices of banks. That wisdom, which trusts all to itself, is foolishness with God. He destroys the wisdom of the wise; He takes the clever in their own craftiness. Were the matter left to human reason alone, we might despair, for the robber's tracks are often hidden. But the foolishness of God is wiser than men. He who made the unlettered fishermen confound the philosophers can bring to light what is hidden in darkness. Pray, then, not only for the restoration of the money, but for a wisdom greater than Plato's, the wisdom from above, Christ Himself, who is made unto us wisdom. That wisdom teaches us, even while we suffer loss, to show great consideration, to mingle mercy with the demand for justice. The one who stole is indeed worthy of a greater punishment, yet we are taught to desire not merely his exposure but his correction.

And this is the true mystery of wisdom: that God uses such trials to make us wise and prudent, to raise up those who were worth nothing to the wealth of patience and faith. Your faith must not stand in the wisdom of men, in the mere success of the investigation, but in the power of God. For even if the money is not restored, will you not have gained a greater treasure, a faith refined? The apostles were accounted fools for preaching a crucified Lord, yet that very "ignorance" overcame all worldly opposition. So too, what seems a loss may become the seed of much self-restraint, a proof that your treasure is not bound to earth. Do not hang your head and gape like those who care only for things that decay. Be wakeful in arguments for godliness, and let this trial become an occasion to speak of Christ, the unfailing wealth.

Approach the throne of grace with confidence. Ask that the authorities be given not only sharp eyes but a heart sensitive to the fear of God, for unless He builds the house, the watchmen stay awake in vain. And for yourself, pray that the peace which surpasses all understanding guard your heart. The answer may not come in the way you expect; but whenever it comes, it will display the ineffable power and wisdom of Him who foreordained before the worlds our glory. Stand firm, then, and let this affliction drive you closer to the One who tells His secrets to those who love Him.

The theft of money from your account is a hard blow, and it's right to cry out for restoration and justice. The world often places all its hope in recovered funds because money can answer many earthly needs. But the Proverbs remind us that wisdom is far better than rubies, and all the things you may desire cannot compare with her. When possessions are suddenly stripped away, it exposes where our trust truly lies. Let this trial push you toward the principal thing: getting wisdom and understanding from the Lord. That wisdom will preserve you and keep you in ways no bank balance ever could.

Pray for the authorities, yes, but pray specifically that they would be led by the wisdom that comes from above. Sound wisdom belongs to God, and by it kings reign and princes decree justice. Human systems are often perverted and come to nothing, but the Lord delights to give discernment to those who seek it. Ask Him to grant investigators a clarity that cuts through deception, because the fear of the Lord is the beginning of true wisdom, and that starting point equips them to hate evil and pursue what is right.

Do not let this loss breed a bitter, envious spirit. If we stew in anger, we are following a worldly wisdom that is earthly, sensual, and leads only to strife. Instead, let God teach you that in Jesus Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. He is your ultimate defense and the one who gives life. A thief can steal money, but no power can snatch the wisdom and righteousness you have in Him. Continue to trust that He sees, and He is able to restore not only what was taken but also to work a deeper stability within you. As you seek His wisdom, you may well find that He adds peace and provision in ways you did not expect.
