Beloved of All
An amount was stolen from ###'s bank account. We don't yet know how they gained access to her bank card details. Please pray for restoration and justice. Pray that the authorities intervene and that God gives them wisdom on how to deal with this issue and find the robber. In Jesus' name, amen!

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of stolen money. The violation of trust and security is deeply unsettling, and we stand in agreement for restoration and justice. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 6:30-31, "Men don’t despise a thief if he steals to satisfy himself when he is hungry; but if he is found, he shall restore seven times. He shall give all the wealth of his house." While this passage speaks to the consequences of theft, it also reminds us that restoration is possible, and we pray that the full amount taken will be returned, even multiplied in ways that only God can provide.

We also pray for wisdom for the authorities as they investigate this matter. James 1:5 assures us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." May the Lord grant them clarity, discernment, and the resources needed to uncover the truth and bring the perpetrator to justice. Let this be a testimony of God’s faithfulness and His hatred for injustice, as we read in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."

Father, we ask that You would comfort and strengthen during this time. The loss of financial security can bring fear and anxiety, but we trust in Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Provide for her needs in ways that surpass human understanding, and let her experience Your peace that guards her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also rebuke the spirit of theft and deception that has operated in this situation. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the thief, if they are known to her or not, would be convicted by the Holy Spirit and led to repentance. If they do not turn to You, Lord, we ask that their plans be frustrated and that they face the consequences of their actions, as Your Word declares in Proverbs 28:13, "He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."

Lord, we thank You that You are a God of justice and restoration. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen ’s faith and remind her that You are her provider and protector. May this trial draw her closer to You and increase her dependence on Your unfailing love.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're so sorry you're dealing with this. Having money taken from your account feels like such a violation, it's unsettling to realize someone had access to something so personal and practical. We're praying with you for a resolution that brings both accountability and recovery.

A few things come to mind that might help right now. First, if she hasn't already, it would be wise to contact her bank immediately, not just to report the theft but to ask specifically about their fraud protection policies. Many banks can reverse unauthorized charges if they're notified promptly, and they can also issue a new card with a different number to prevent further losses. Second, filing a police report creates a formal record, which sometimes helps the bank's own investigation move faster. She might also want to check her credit reports with the three major bureaus, just to make sure nothing else has been compromised. These are small but concrete steps toward regaining some control while the authorities do their work.

Mostly we just want you to know you're not carrying this alone. It's easy to feel powerless when someone takes what isn't theirs, especially before you even understand how it happened. But God sees what's hidden, and we trust him to guide the investigators to the truth and to provide what your friend needs in the meantime.

Father, we lift up this situation to you. Give wisdom and diligence to those investigating this crime, and bring the truth to light. Restore what was stolen in your perfect timing, and guard this woman's heart from anxiety and distrust as she waits. Provide for every practical need in the gap, and let her know your steady presence with her. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

This theft is a sharp trial, and your cry for restoration and justice rises rightly to the throne of God. Remember that the Lord’s eye is upon His own in every hour of loss; He who looked upon Peter in his denial is not far from you in this distress. The money is gone, but the God who restores the driven-away sheep is able to bring back what has been taken. He can turn the heart of the authorities, give them wisdom to trace the thief, and move even the sinner to restitution.

Yet consider: when our purse is emptied, we are driven to seek true wealth. He that has no money is the very man for Christ’s money, helpless in himself, he leans upon the Lord’s boundless provision. The fountain opened for sin and uncleanness is ever flowing; the Bread of Heaven is given without price. Cast this care upon Jesus, for He never fails His poor. The prayer you offer in His name is not in vain, for His name is the key to every mercy. Justice may lag, but God’s justice is sure, and He will feed the oppressor with judgment in His time.

Look not so much at the missing sum as at the nearness of your Savior. He has prayed for you, that your faith fail not. Soon you may see this loss as a dark backdrop to a brighter discovery of His faithfulness. Let the trial sweeten your reliance on Him, and when He restores, turn to strengthen your brethren. The authorities labor, but the Lord’s arm is the ultimate defender. Cry to Him, wait upon His word, and know that nothing stolen on earth shall be lacking in the King’s accounting.

The loss of money stings, and it is natural to feel the wound when what you have labored for is taken. Yet listen carefully: the one who stole has not truly injured you, unless he has taken the treasure that is above. What is money? Dust and shadow, here today and gone tomorrow, unable to purchase the kingdom of heaven or add one cubit to your stature. The widow's two mites, given with a full heart, outweighed the heavy bags of the rich, for God does not weigh coins but the disposition of the soul. So let this theft teach you to think lightly of gold raiment and silver, that you may never think lightly of your salvation. The real loss belongs to the robber, not to you. He who commits injustice receives far greater injustice upon himself, wounding his own soul far more than he has emptied your purse. This is not to condone his sin, God forbid, but to set your mind on things above, where no thief can break in and steal.

Pray for justice, yes, but let your prayer be seasoned with mercy. We are commanded to mingle mercy with justice, even as Christ did, who while we were wronging Him paid our debt. Ask God to grant the authorities wisdom, that they may uncover the truth and restore what was taken, but do not let your heart become a prison of wrath. Remember Paul, who when faced with Onesimus the runaway slave and thief, spoke not harshly of theft but gently of being wronged, as between friends, that the offender might be restored. Pray for the thief’s repentance as earnestly as you seek your money. Hunt for the robber’s soul as you would hunt for a lost child, leaving no stone unturned, beseeching God to bring him to conviction and change. This is the part of a Christian: to be spitefully treated and yet to entrust all to the One who judges justly.

Do not be consumed by the “why” or the mystery of how it happened. Human wisdom would have you plot and fret and rehearse your rights, but the foolishness of God is wiser than men. His wisdom appears foolish to the world: telling you to despise the loss, to love your enemy, to pray for those who persecute you. But this is the wisdom that comes from above, which makes the wise of this world look as foolish as they truly are. Trust that God permitted this for your greater gain, perhaps to loosen your grip on earthly goods, to teach you patience, or to display His power when restoration comes in His time. The kingdom cannot be bought with money, but with a purpose of mind that clings to nothing but Christ. Seek God in this trial as you would seek hidden treasure, and you will find Him to be a sure foundation when all else crumbles. Let your faith rest not in the persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the power of God, who works all things for good for those who love Him. Amen.

The theft you've experienced is a sharp reminder of how deeply the love of money can corrupt human hearts. Money itself is a tool, neither good nor evil, but the greedy pursuit of it drives people to violate trust and harm others. Behind this act lies that ancient root of so much sorrow: the craving for power, the illusion that money can deliver control or security. But such gain is always empty, and it leads to a tangled path of injustice. We pray not only that the stolen funds are restored, but that the one who took them would face the weight of true justice, God’s justice, which sees every secret and demands honest accounting.

Our earthly systems often fail to deliver what is right. Courts and investigations can be slow, biased, or powerless, and many walk away without consequence. Yet the Scriptures call us to keep judgment and do justice, because the Lord’s salvation and righteousness are near. He cares deeply about fairness, about the breaches in our lives, and about restoring what has been broken. We bring this matter to the One who weighs every deed, asking Him to grant wisdom to the authorities involved. May they uncover the truth and act with integrity, and may what was taken be returned in full measure, as we see in the accounts where lost money was mysteriously found again.

While we wait and pray, guard your own heart against bitterness. Money can become a cruel master when we fix our eyes on it, but it is never the ultimate source of our security. The Lord invites us to use our resources for things that last, to hold them lightly as belonging to Him. This loss is real, and the frustration is justified, yet even here God can work a deeper trust. His provision is not limited by a thief’s hand. Let us remember that the hope of restoration rests not in the power of money but in the faithfulness of the God who treasures His people far above silver or gold. He will make all things right in His time.
