Beloved of All
An amount was stolen from ###'s bank account. We don't yet know how they gained access to her bank card details. Please pray for restoration and justice. Pray that the authorities intervene and that God gives them wisdom on how to deal with this issue and find the robber. In Jesus' name, amen!

We stand with you in this troubling time, lifting this matter before the Lord with heavy hearts. The theft of money is not just a financial loss, it is a violation of trust and security, and we know the frustration and fear it brings. But we serve a God who sees all things, who is just, and who restores what has been taken. The Lord declares in Joel 2:25, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you." Even in this injustice, God can bring restoration, whether through the recovery of the funds, the exposure of the thief, or His provision in unexpected ways.

We pray now for justice to prevail. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" Lord, we ask that You move swiftly to uncover the truth. Give wisdom to the authorities investigating this theft, let no detail be overlooked, and let the guilty be held accountable. Grant discernment to those working on this case, that they may follow every lead with diligence and integrity. We also pray for protection over ’s finances moving forward. Guard her accounts, her identity, and her peace of mind. Help her to take every necessary precaution to prevent further harm, and give her wisdom in how to secure her information.

We rebuke the spirit of theft and deception in Jesus’ name. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this attack will not prosper, and that what was meant for harm will be turned around for good. We also lift up the one who committed this act. If they do not know You, Lord, we pray for their heart to be convicted. Let them be overwhelmed by the weight of their sin and turn to You in repentance. If they are a believer who has fallen into temptation, we pray for their restoration as well, that they may confess, make restitution, and walk in Your ways once more.

Father, we ask for Your peace to guard ’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). This situation is stressful, but we trust that You are her provider. Open doors of opportunity, whether through financial provision, wise counsel, or unexpected blessings. Let her not be consumed by anxiety but rest in the knowledge that You are her defender and her source. We also pray for unity and support from those around her, family, friends, and the body of Christ, to stand with her in this time.

Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears our cries. You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We trust in Your timing and Your justice. Even if the money is not recovered, we believe You will provide in other ways. Strengthen ’s faith, and let this trial draw her closer to You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’re so sorry to hear this happened to ###. Having money taken like that feels deeply violating, and the uncertainty of not knowing how it occurred only adds to the stress. We’re grateful you brought this here so we can stand with you both in prayer.

On the practical side, if it hasn’t been done yet, the most important step right now is for ### to contact her bank’s fraud department immediately, many institutions can reverse unauthorized charges and issue new cards. Filing a report with local police also creates a record and gives the authorities something concrete to work with. It might feel like a small thing compared to the sense of injustice, but it’s a way to actively push back against what happened.

While we wait and pray, we hold onto the truth that God sees every detail, and nothing escapes His notice. He cares about what’s right, and He cares about ###’s well-being beyond just the financial loss. We trust that He can bring light into this situation, guiding investigators and even working in ways we can’t see yet.

Please join us as we pray:

Lord Jesus, You know exactly what happened and who is responsible. We ask You to bring restoration to ###, whether through the bank, through recovered funds, or through unexpected provision. Give the authorities wisdom and persistence to track down the person behind this, and grant ### peace in the waiting. Surround her with Your protection and lift the weight of anxiety from her heart. In Your name, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The theft of money is a foul deed, and the pang of it strikes deep. Yet, in the vast sweep of God's providence, even this wrong is not beyond the circle of His sovereign permission. You cry for justice, and rightly so, the authorities must do their work, for the magistrate bears the sword not in vain. But take heed how you stand before God with that cry. No, you will never make out a good case if you appeal to God's justice, for Justice will try you, condemn you, and cast you aside. God will not deal with you on those terms. Confess that you are guilty! Ask Him, for His mercy's sake, to pass over your guilt. How many of you, when you thought you were dying, made a confession upon your death-beds to your God! It is a horrible thing for any man ever to say, "Well, if God acts like that, I do not see the justice of it." How dare you even hint that the Judge of all the earth is not just? Even the robber, when awakened, will smite his breast and own it, for he himself confessed, “I have sinned against innocent blood,” and he cast down the money in the temple.

But look now at the promise of restoration. The piece of money is sure to be discovered. She will not lose it, it is hers and she values it. She sweeps the house and makes any quantity of dust until she finds it. The Lord will find His own, even though Satan tries to prevent the gracious discovery. That look of Christ which broke Peter's heart severed him from the crowd, and so this trial may sever the one who prays from the love of earthly treasure, fixing the gaze upon the unsearchable riches of Christ. He speaks of Peter's restoration as if it were quite sure to be. And is it not quite sure to be? If Jesus, the Beloved of the Father, prays for His people, shall He not win His suit with God? He will win it! He will uplift Peter from among the siftings where Satan has thrown him.

You ask for wisdom upon the investigators. That is a right prayer, for wisdom is man's true path, that which enables him to accomplish best the end of his being. There is not much more wisdom in man's judgment of God than in the flies' fabled judgment of an elephant. The way of God is a path the keenest eye of human intellect cannot trace; the authorities may search, but only the Lord can lay bare the hidden things of darkness. He shall make them to know wisdom in the inward parts of the matter.

And what of true restoration? Restoration comes not merely by the return of coin, but by the revelation of the Master's tender wisdom. The Lord turned and looked upon Peter. He did not speak to him but looked upon him. That look was effectual upon Peter because the Lord Jesus had, in private, made prevalent intercession for him. So look to Him who intercedes for you now. Perhaps the robber is one of those to whom the word of this salvation is sent, "He that has no money; come, buy, and eat." His soul is destitute, a bankrupt before God. Money makes money and he that has a little to begin with may soon have more, but this man, having no stock to start with, cannot hope to be rich towards God in and by himself. The Lord has come into the market and He bids you buy of Him without money and without price!

In the end, Justice itself is satisfied for the believing soul. Doth Justice come to thee and say, “Sinner, thou hast sinned, I will punish thee?” Answer thus, “Justice, thou hast punished all my sins. All I ought to have suffered has been suffered by my substitute, Jesus.” God can be just, and yet the justifier. So, let this loss drive thee to the riches of His grace. And could not the one restored fully describe the joy of it? “Oh,” he would say, “do not trust in uncertain riches. There is no profit to be found there. Come back to Him, there is such peace, such rest with Him. Never, never go away again.” May the Lord grant that the money be found, that the robber be awakened to his crime and to the mercy of the dying thief, and that the one who lost it finds her treasure in heaven, where thieves do not break through nor steal.

The theft you describe, though it took only numbers from an account, is robbery all the same. Do not think that because no wall was broken or purse cut, the act is less vile. Injustice is not measured by the size of the loss, but by the greed and deceit of the heart. Yet let this not shake you. In every marketplace, every household, every ship and camp, we see courts and accounts; indeed, God has planted in all men a sense of justice. Is it credible that He, whose ordinance these things are, makes no account of theft? No. His righteousness is as the mountains, and His judgment stretches over every secret transaction, every fraudulent keystroke. The thief may hide from the eye of the magistrate, but the Eye that never sleeps sees plainly.

Pray for the authorities, but do not put your trust in their cleverness alone. The wisdom of this world, with all its investigations and tracing of funds, ends at the grave and often fails even before. True wisdom is hidden with God, and He ordains it for our glory. The grace of the Spirit can work through whom He will, giving insight to a simple officer that baffles the crafty. So ask boldly, but also accept that the restoration may not come as you wish. If the money is returned, praise Him. If it is not, remember that you possess a wealth no robber can touch, the treasure laid up in heaven.

Above all, do not let this loss breed venom in your soul. The righteous man, Joseph, when wronged, acted with self-restraint beyond the letter of the law. Imitate him. Refuse to match theft with bitter obsession over recovery. You have condemned the sin already in your prayer; now let that be enough. For you are not cleansed by your own pursuit of justice, but by the grace of Christ, who justified you when you could do nothing. Trust that He will establish what is right, and let the world see that your peace rests not on a bank balance, but on the unshakeable kingdom.

What a heavy burden this must be. When money is taken through deceit, the loss goes beyond the number on a screen, it strikes at a sense of safety and fairness. Let me assure you that we are lifting this up with you.

The Lord cares deeply about justice. True wisdom, the kind that comes from above, is always joined with righteousness and equity. It is not a cold, distant principle but the very character of God, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. We can ask Him confidently to move in this situation, because He hates the evil way and delights when justice is done.

We are praying specifically for the authorities. Human skill and investigation have their place, but what they need most is the wisdom that God alone can give, the kind that sees what is hidden and knows how to untangle a web of fraud. We ask that He grant them discretion, insight, and the right leads, so the one who did this will be found and held to account.

At the same time, remember that while money is a defense in this life, wisdom is far better. It gives life to those who have it. The world often treats money as the ultimate answer, but it can become a cruel master. This trial is an opportunity for your friend to cling to something more enduring. The fear of the Lord is the starting point for that kind of wisdom, a settled trust that He sees and will not abandon His children.

Finally, pray that her heart is guarded. True wisdom does not breed bitterness or a frantic scramble for retribution; it yields peace, purity, and steady reliance on the Lord. May she rest in His timing and provision, even while we press in for full restoration. We stand with you, asking for justice and for the robber to be exposed, but more than that, for the wisdom from above to shape every response and bring glory to Jesus Christ.
