Still waiting on healing from The Lord in Jesus name

Thank you for sharing your prayer so honestly and for continuing to wait patiently on the Lord. I have prayed for you, asking the Lord Jesus to hear your cry for healing in your head, for the cracking in your neck and the lightheaded feeling, and for a day at work that is free from pain and stress.
Your patient waiting is precious to God. Scripture shows that waiting on the Lord is not passive, but trusting Him to work things out in His way and time, and when He works it is smooth and perfect, very different from our own striving in the flesh. He sees your discomfort and your desire to work well, and He cares about both.
The Bible gives us a balanced hope about healing. Isaiah spoke of the Messiah bearing our sicknesses and carrying our pains, and Matthew applies that prophecy directly to the physical healings Jesus did, healing the leper, the centurion's servant, Peter's mother in law and many others who were brought to Him in the evening. When Jesus broke the bread and said this is my body broken for you, He was pointing to a provision that includes more than forgiveness of sin alone. It reaches to our bodies as well. Even under the law, God made a provision for the leper in the day of his cleansing, though leprosy was incurable by human means. He left room for His own miraculous work where no human cure existed, which reminds us that no condition is beyond His reach.
At the same time Scripture also shows that healing is sovereign and in God's hands, and it is not right to put a burden of guilt on the one who is sick. Paul prayed three times for the thorn in his flesh, which he described as a messenger of Satan buffeting him, and the Lord did not remove it. To presume that God must heal everyone immediately in the same way is not scriptural. There are healings that are instant and miraculous, there are healings that come gradually, and any process of healing is from God. Only one gradual healing is recorded in detail in the ministry of Jesus, but we see Him use a variety of ways, and often we do not understand why some are healed quickly, some gradually, and some are not healed as we hope. That is in the realm of God's wisdom, not ours, and unbelief can limit what God does, yet even our faith itself is a gift from Him.
What we can do is bring your need to Him continually and trust His goodness. He has power over infirmities and sicknesses, over the material world and over the spiritual realm, and He is still able to heal. He is also at work in you through this waiting, shaping and conforming you to the image of Christ. Often He must work in us before He works through us, and testing can be part of that refining, though it is not easy and we do not always understand why He allows certain chipping away.
So I pray with you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I bring this dear one before You. You know the pain in the head, the cracking in the neck, the times of feeling lightheaded, and the stress that work can bring. Lay Your healing hand upon this body according to Your will and mercy. Whether by Your instant touch or by a gradual restoring, do Your healing work and give relief. Grant today a measure of freedom from pain and from stress, give clarity of mind, steadiness, and peace at work, and help this heart to keep resting in Your love and sovereignty. Give faith to receive what You provide through the suffering of Jesus, and give peace to trust You even while waiting. Work in this life and work through this life for Your glory. Amen.
